Jouer Long-Wear Lip Topper, Metallic Shimmering Golden Nude/Skinny Dip, 0.21 fl oz

This is definitely a topper, as described, not a gloss -- you should expect to use it on top of a lipstick, preferably a matte lipstick, in order to add a shimmer rather than a high gloss. It can be used without lipstick but it will not be super glossy, more subtle. This particular color is described as golden nude, but it is a very cool golden color, not warm -- tones of silver, rose, blue. If you're looking for a warmer gold, another shade might suit you better. If you are sensitive to scent, this does have a vanilla scent that wasn't too pungent, but again, it depends on your threshold for scent.

The shimmer is just right and it's a beautiful nude color. It's not super shiny like gloss which is what I wanted. It layers well over many other medium to light colors. It doesn't last very long unfortunately, but it lasts longer than many other lip glosses. The taste is a nice, subtle, vanilla flavor. Unlike some other long wear lipsticks it does not dry out your lips. If only it would last longer! But since it tastes good I just keep reapplying.

This is a gorgeous lip topper. I get compliments every single day, even from strangers. I feel so good wearing it. The Rose Gold is a very special color. I have purchased Rose gold in other brands and they don’t have the beautiful look as this one. I have purchased it several times and will again. I do apply it a few times during the day to keep the color fresh but that doesn’t bother me. I am so happy that I found this exquisite lip topper.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this gloss. Adds a ton of shimmer without managing to look immature and glittery! Great on its own or as a topper to other shades for a gorgeous amount of shimmer. Does wear off quickly during the day (my reusable to go coffee lids are always a little sparkly no matter how much I wash them) but it's still fantastic and worth reapplying. Doesn't dry lips out or make them tacky either.

I was excited to try this because it’s a hyped up product in the beauty world. To my disappointment, it only looks good in photos. In real life, the amount of sparkle comes off more like a metallic liquid lipstick, but sheer, so it’s off-putting. It looks like a glittery, patchy mess. In photos, it makes your lips look like they’re a perfectly glazed donut. Not a big lipstick person but this is perfect over matte lipstick to give some shimmer, use it much more then I thought I would

My wife bought this and she loves it. She wishes she would have bought more; loves the shine not much color but it's a lip topper.

I like the Lip Topper best. I've using it over a shade of lipstick that is just a little bit darker and it looks very nice.
