Is it safe to have this in same bag as my laptop ??

The magnets are cup magnets which directs the magnetic field in one direction. If you were to put this in the same bag with the magnets facing away from your laptop its perfectly safe. It’s no different then when your laptop is sitting on it during use.

Does a laptop still sit good on the utility model? I am looking for a model that has the best of both worlds.
