QWB144 - Laird 1/4 Wave Black Antenna 144-152 Mhz, 18 inch Overall Height

Very happy with this purchase. First of all, it arrived securely in a sturdy box filled with bubble wrap to protect the antenna. I've had other antennas delivered in padded envelopes crammed into my mailbox bending the antennas. Not here, it was extra protected. The antenna itself seems to be good quality with a tough black finish. Works well on the 2 meter ham band. Would highly recommend this Laird 1/4 wave NMO mount antenna.

Had to replace my old 10 yo one. Radio works again like new!!Easy to install, I used oil on all the rubber gaskets to prevent water issues.

I really like this antenna, it performs well and is barely noticeable on my truck. The SWR is near perfect @147.300 which is where I use it most.The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is that the base of the antenna was scratched (paint missing) in one spot, nothing a little touch up paint or sharpie couldn't fix but it was still disappointing.I will definitely buy this again and hopefully the next one won't have paint damage.
