Soft butter
Growing up we always had butter out in a container. Its a great way to have the butter nice, soft, and spreadable while also being protected. The disk is a nice weight, has a sealed top which I appreciate because less bacteria can get in, and even comes with its own knife that sits right in the lid. The knife is a rounded shape which is great for spreading and has holes for if you want the butter to be more in a cylinder and easy to spread. Also love the dish size can hold up to 4 sticks of butter or one giant pad of butter. Best purchase ever.

Old style butter dish for the "icebox". Perfect and holds a lot of butter. Love the knife! Washes in dishwasher well. Sturdy, perfect.

Keeping your butter soft
I love this butter dish. The bottom is metal and the top is wooden. It's very cute. I love the butter curler knife. It's great for hard butter. This dish has a snug secure lid which keeps my butter fresh so I can keep it on my counter so I always has soft butter.
