In the early '80s when Swapan Basu chanced upon the opportunity to make hand-painted accessories; he was quick to seek help from his best friend and wife, Roma. In 1984, Roma started designing hand-painted bags while developing the process and refining the method of painting over the years. Today it is a closely guarded family secret. The colors are a very powerful element in these designs. The wide range of abstracts, imaginary and natural scenes, depicted in muted colors of all shades and hues, transforms each handbag into an object of timeless art.

My assessment of the Anuschka bags
Very good quality. Straps adjust for your height and convenience. Design is beautiful. I get compliments on my bags as I have several of this brand. I love the size of the bag and the outside pockets

Hand painted designer purse
These are made well, hand painted by top artist in India and are leather, last a long time. I gave it to a relative for a Christmas gift. So no picture can be taken. But they sell it on Amazon. I have bought many in the past either for myself or family. They are beautiful and top quality..

Can you say BEAUTIFUL?
Wow‼️What a showstopper of a handbag .., the painted scene is right out of Greece. It’s colorful and magnificent. The size of the bag is perfect with many places to separate your personal belongings. I LOVE IT ‼️

Love the Pictures
This is larger than my usual preference. Love the art, the leather, how well made, and organized the bag is.Also like the idea of the extra handle for use as a cross body. Outside pockets are very handy as well.My only complaint is round handles - they usually start flaking off the leather covering in my experience and thus I tend to avoid purchasing these types of bags. I hope this does not happen with this brand.Otherwise, Enjoy!

Cute but stiff
I love Annuska bags. The prints are great, as is the print in this bag. The leather is very stiff, and the zipper is on the shorter side. This makes it hard to open and close the bag and get thing in and out of it.

Beautiful vibrant colors
I got this purse as a birthday gift for my mom and she is obsessed with it!! Probably one of her all time favorites I also got her the small matching wallet. 10/10 best gift ever!! I’m thinking of getting one from this brand for myself! Definitely recommend.
