Nalgenes are the best quality product on the market for BPA FREE. I’ve used these bottles for over 25 yrs and I usually lose them and never has one crack through a lot of adventures and abuse.

I've always had the wide mouth, decided to try this. Do they always smell?

Might want to invest in bottle cleaning tablets to get the smell out, mine doesn’t smell from regular thorough cleaning AND drying.
