This is a chime that is so beautiful and welcome to the ears that you almost want to set up an oscillating fan below it to make it chime more .The sound example provided by Amazon is accurate. It's not that tinkly, high-pitched, sometimes annoying chime you hear from so many other brands. This one is gentle, warm, soothing, and sweet.And it is very well constructed. But please be aware that the stated measurement is from the top of the little copper square that holds the chime all the way down to the end of the wooden square that dangles below it. The chimes themselves are only 13" at the longest one. Definitely important if you're looking for something larger.I did a ton of research (anal that way) before making my choice. I even went to the Woodstock website so I could listen to their different styles - which I highly recommend doing if you're serious about what you'll be hearing all day & night in your home or outdoors. And I must say I got quite an education.Nevertheless, it's always a subjective decision. If you're looking to spend a little more money for something you'll be proud of & pleased to enjoy with your family, friends .... and neighbors, then I really think this, or any other Woodstock product, would be a great choice. They really seem to know and care about what they're doing.As a matter of fact, the same day I received this chime, I went ahead and bought the Earth Wind 37" chime to join it. Can't wait to hear their duets.

I love my chimes! So far I have Pluto and Mars and am looking to add one or two more to my collection. I read other remarks that almost deterred me from purchasing regarding their not moving much to produce sound but decided to try it out anyway. I have had no problems with my chimes at all and love the pleasant sounds of them! I can see where if the one piece were longer it may chime more but I am very pleased with them and it does not take strong winds to get them chiming. They are both music to my ears and always bring a smile to my face when they chime so I am planning on adding to them.

I love Woodstock chimes. However, the sound one this one is a little too high pitch. I have several Woodstock chimes, but this one makes my dog bark and howl. The box for these was not as nice as the others I've received. The wood in the pictures looks like a burgundy, it's more of a red. The quality is still that of Woodstock chimes. I will keep these and add them to my collection in my woods. They just aren't my favorite.

These are beautiful looking and sounding wind chimes. I never write reviews but wanted anybody thinking about buying.a wind chime to know you will not be disappointed in any of the Woodstock chimes. I love them so much that I have purchased 3 of them in the last couple weeks. There's another one I want plus I would like to try one of the Bells too but need to save up since a went a bit crazy buying so many in a short period of time. They are worth every penny and to be honest they are better in price to any others out there. Thank you Woodstock, you have a very satisfied customer!!

I purchased this for my own pleasure. I live in a townhouse and have a small semi private back porch. I love sitting out back to read and when the wind blows the least little bit this chime plays the most melodious sounds that seems to block out all the other outdoor noise that normally distracts this reader. One of the most favorite things about this chime that I like is being able to hear it while I'm sitting quietly in my home. I'll purchase more and even give them as gifts.

I just love my chimes. The tone is so beautiful I just smile when a breeze blows through and they chime. I do take them down for storms and rain and I have taken them down for the winter. I really enjoy them and wish to keep them in good shape to put up next spring and summer. They are made with corded string as another set I had which fell apart by leaving it in the rain and elements. So I've learned my lesson and keep these protected and stored. Well worth the effort to hear them chime again.

I love the sound. My 12 year Labordor had recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I have an enclosed porch where I sit or lay during the day. When it gets warmer I turn a fan on and I tip it up so the air hits all the chimes on the porch. The sound of 100 chimes so pretty. I put the new chime out on the porch and stationed the fan will it will directly hit the new chime and I think of Gracie my dog

Unfortunately, I live near an airport so I decided to make outside a little more pleasant by attracting more twitting birds and introducing some relaxing music. This wind chime is perfectly tuned...not clinky like the annoying cheap ones and looks really good. It's of very good quality and seems long lasting. I am yet to see it perform on a rainy day.

After decades of enjoying Mike Oldfields 'Tubular Bells', I have found delightful replacements that cost absolutely nothing to play, just a slight breeze. It is particularly pleasing to introduce the charming chimes so lovingly created in New York State to the southwest Highlands of Scotland. The bronze 'Pluto' chimes are not only enchanting to look at, but produce a perfect aural feast. While I fully expect the chords to need replacing over time, I anticipate the sounds will past as long as there is a slight breeze. A light application of oil to the wood and the chimes will ensure this. Can't recommend them highly enough. I was so enthralled with my purchase that I have since bought the captivating sounds of 'Mercury', the smallest planet, to tinkle in my garden as an additional treat.

We had seen these wind chimes at a garden centre and really liked them so checked them out on Amazon the price was good and ordered, prompt delivery item well packaged, we have it hanging in our hall at present but it will go outside in the better weather, the sound is beautiful, we are really pleased with our wind chime

I am usually too lazy to write reviews.but I have great pleasure in writing a review for this one.amazing quality straight out of the box.and boy does it sing.The note is just divine,inspirational.I can fully see that a musician has applied his heart to this product.It is a work of art.Everyone loves it.Best windchime I have ever seen/heard/bought.If you are looking for a windchime,this one is way above anything else.to add,have purchased this again.fantastic product,you will not be disappointed
