Are the drawstrings functional so the waist can be tightened?

For the quilted pant, the drawstring is not 'fully' functional. It will have a small pull but wouldn't act like a belt to tighten. ~The Burt's Bees Baby Support Team

Are these more on the thick or thin side? Like better for warm weather or cool weather?

They are lightweight. Very comfy but not thick. Great for sleeping.

Do these have a drop crotch that would fit cloth diapers?

Hello, the quilted pants do not have a drop crotch. ~The Burt's Bees Baby Support Team
