How long do you charge it for to gain full power

The air buds don't really rin out when I use them..so I just put on charge for a short while. Usually used for about an hour and a half at at time. Not sure this answer helps!

They have been working in hot weather and cold, battery life is very good. Can’t give exact temperature but it was hot

You tap the headphones, left or right, one or more times depending on the desired control.

Are the hooks a soft material like silicone or a hard plastic,?

Hooks are softer silicone. I find them very comfortable. Overall, really like these...they really do stay put. Only 2 minor niggles. 1. They have some sort of touch sensitive switch which is meant for controlling volume / changing track etc. I find these to be difficult to operate and more of a hindrance than a help. However easily overcome by just using the phone for volume control etc. 2. Sometimes if you leave them for a while, they lose Bluetooth connection and the only way to reestablish is to put them in the charging dock for a few seconds. Both minor niggles really - I would still recommend them - especially given the price.
