The SakAlameda Hobo Bag in Leather

The search is over! This purse represents every feature I need and want! It is exactly the size and shape I love....not too big or small...not a bucket shape or tote shape. The pebbled leather and antique gold hardware are beautiful. Thank goodness it has just a couple of interior pockets...one zippered and two open pockets. I don't like multiple pockets which gets confusing. The interior lining fabric is light colored which makes it easy to find contents. Maybe best of all, it has one shoulder strap that is exactly the ideal length. Honestly, if I could have a custom -made purse, this would be it!!

Everything about this bag is perfect for me. It holds so much, you can organize this purse even though it’s a hobo style. I enjoy that it has two outside sipper pockets one is perfect for my phone. It’s not a heavy weight purse but the leather is soft and great quality. I got it in gray the color was true to picture. I’ve been using it for two weeks now. I’ll post again as time goes on to let you know how it’s holding up!!

This is an attractive bag with supple grain leather that is lightweight, lots of storage space and 2 zippers on outside. Perfect size, roomy but not huge. Seems to be overall good quality and well made.Major drawback for me is that strap is much shorter than what I'm used to. Wasn't expecting a cross body strap, but this strap is so short that bag is really snug under my arm, it doesn't hang from the shoulder as much as tuck under your arm.Sak does not sell replacement straps, Amz does but I'm not sure the color would match the indigo color of bag (dark blue but not quite navy). May return if can't find longer strap that matches.Only other shortcomings are it does not have metal "feet" on bottom to lift bag away from gross stuff on floors and there is no inside clip to attach car fob or keys.

Love the two different colors of leather-it makes it unique. The purse holds a lot and isn't heavy. My iPhone 12 mini fits in the inside pocket but a larger one wouldn't fit. Zippers work smooth, pockets are handy though I wish they were a little deeper. The drop on the shoulder strap is perfect for my 5'2' frame. The first thing I did after I made sure everything fit inside was to put leather protector all over the purse since I really want this one to last long.

This purse is the perfect size, the leather is so soft and it has plenty of compartments for everything. The SAK never disappoints.

The color on line is deceptive. Bought because I thought it was black and tan. It is not. It's brown and tan. Handle is cheap looking. Leather of purse is very stiff. Not soft and pliant like other Sak bags I've purchased direct from company. Wondering if this is a knockoff. Wont be using. Returns are a castle so I will resell.
