love the wood finish and the weight, this product is well made and works great with my portafilter. the pressure spring is good. its hard to keep it horizontally leveled though as it does not have a horizontal edge to lean on the basket when tamping, this is a skill one acquires with time and not a real issue.I recommend this product.

It is good enough to me but I was looking something easy for my wife and she cannot use this. It is little hard to use for her. Exactly you get what you pay. If you need a better quality and easy to use, you will have to buy an expensive one.

spring is kind of hard but is not necessary to trigger it. just providing enough force to tamper your coffee should be enough.

This item is really just a normal tamper because the spring is too stiff and takes so much effort to tamp down. It just looks pretty.

I read that some people were saying that it is very tough to press. I wanted to give it a go and indeed. My husband can manage but it is impossible for me to use it. Returning it before I injure my wrist.

Starting my journey as a coffee snob and this is perfect for me to make sure i use the correct pressure on tamp. The other items are also useful but used less often. The project seems well built and although a little expensive for what it does is does it well

Le tamper est joli, et de bonne qualité de fabrication. Cependant, il est inutilisable. Je n'arrivais pas à tasser avec, il me fallait appuyer bien trop fort et je me suis d'ailleurs fait mal en essayant. J'ai mesuré la pression appliquée à l'aide d'une balance, et elle est de 30kg ! Alors que pour un panier de 54mm, la pression recommandée est plutôt autour de 12 à 15kg.Dommage, car la qualité était bien.
