Demodex Control Shampoo for Humans | Extra Strength - 6.0 oz

I had an itchy scalp, eyebrows and ear for over a year. Didn't know what was causing it. Still don't. (Not lice.) Decided to try this and the itch is gone. In the shower, wet my hair, put enough on to cover my scalp and eyebrows, lathered it in and stuck some of the foam in my ear, left it on for 2-3 minutes while I brushed my teeth, washed it off. Did this once a day for 3 days. After third day, itch was gone. Maybe once every two months, I'll have a day where it feels like the itch is back. In this case, I'll massage a pea size onto that area, the itch goes away, and I just leave it on until I shower later in the evening.

Thought I had dandruff, itchy scalp all the time, then found out I had some eyelid redness and itchy issues, tried the eyewash in this line first and it was great, so I tried the associated shampoo. Now both itchy issues are gone in less than a week. Wish I had found this sooner!

Seems to work just don’t like the smell which lingers or the price. Now that I’m out of it I feel it’s worth it.

This product—and the other Ovante OTC skin, hair, and ear products—are more effective than anything else I have tried. I had become skeptical about anything working other than the relatively toxic prescription remedies. This line, from Australia, is expensive, although there are some other brands far more so. But cost is irrelevant when an effective, safe solution for this maddening skin condition is available. Highly recommended.

I was a bit worried that it would damage my hair as I have long hair but it doesn't.It has helped my scalp problems a lot.Yes, it does smell despite using other products like conditioner but after an hour or so it fades away.I would recommend this to anyone who has itchy scalp. I have hair that is growing back now.Just bought 2 more bottles so I can keep it at home.

I followed the instructions on this product did not work at all; it did zero to help me. I started the return process. I gave it one last shot.Over the kitchen sink, I scrubbed my scalp with REGULAR SHAMPOO. Get all the oil and dead skin cells out of the way. Then I did a BIG SCRUB with this shampoo and wrap my HEAD IN A TOWEL for 25 MINUTES. Then I rinsed it.This is the only way I was able to get it to work. 2 to 3 minutes does not get it done. This works if you leave it on for 25 minutes.Tiny bottle, way too expensive. But it works.

I suspect I have the awful mites & so I tried this shampoo (with the even worse conditioner). It smells horrible, like straight tea tree oil, & even though I washed my hair again after usung it, the smell won't go away! It's 2 days & I can't stand the smell! It's so bad it gave me migraine. Just as bad, I'm still itchy.You'd think they'd put something in these to mask the awful smell, but no. I'm walking around smelling like the pits of Hell.I DO NOT recommend these products!

This product works really well. I did however read others reviews and one person said that they leave theirs on for 10 to 20 minutes and that’s what I did. I had previously been itching really bad on my head and around my eyebrows and eyelashes and I know that the mites from having rosacea and after using this I haven’t had a flareup for over a month. After you leave it in and wash it out it’s still leaves a sulfur type smell almost like rotten eggs with chemical and that’s what it supposed to do but if you’re going to go to any party or gathering or to your job I wouldn’t recommend doing this the date of maybe give it a couple of days after you shampoo your hair with this before you go anywhere. Lol
