Toy Kids Vacuum, Toy Vacuum Cleaner for Toddler with Lights & Sounds (Style B)

I'm really not sure what to say about this toy other than I'm ready to start my degree in small electronics repair just so I can disconnect the speaker on this thing! "walking, walking, running running, hop hop hop!" seems to be playing in my nightmares now. If the speaker wasn't so loud, or the song was longer than 15 seconds it probably wouldn't have been so bad. I've never before had a toy annoy me and this one managed to do it. *I will say however that the reason that I purchased this was to get my toddler to leave the Roomba alone because he'd have his own robot vacuum. Well even if it doesn't actually vacuum anything up and has a hard time moving on the carpet, it did work well for getting him to leave the Roomba alone. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Just remember, this is a toy and not a vacuum!

My 17 month old is obsessed with our roomba and im worried he's gonna break it. This thing would be fantastic if it weren't for the LOUD, OBNOXUOUS song that's on a 30 second loop! If anyone figures out how to disable it or break the speaker, let me know, please, for the love of God! I have to hide it from my son. Why? Why would you put a song on this? And a terrible one at that. It just needs to move around like the roomba. It doesn't do carpet but is great on hard surfaces. It actually does pick up a bit of dust too. Pretty sturdy since my son has thrown it around and it still works. If you appreciate your sanity, don't buy unless you want to figure out how to turn off the song.

So I brought this product thinking my son would love it. He’s three years old and is obsessed with vacuums! I read the reviews and saw that many parents complained of the noise or song, saying it had no volume control or turn off button. I just figured they were just complaining, but they weren’t kidding. This toy is awful! Not only did it just spin around, it didn’t really travel on the hardwood floor even, and it sang a very, VERY, obnoxious song that had nothing to do with vacuums and it wouldn’t turn off or turn down volume wise!! Do NOT buy this if you don’t want to lose your marbles. Our 3 year old didn’t even like it. He just stared at it. Note to manufacturer please: make a volume control button and a noise turn off button! Sheesh!

My 13 m/o son is obsessed with our Roomba and tries to pick it up and walk away. He'll also press the buttons incessantly and error out the vacuum. This is the perfect distraction. My son follows it around and terrorizes it. It's got the button on the top and he can easily pick it up and drop it without getting frustrated. It's so durable. Some critiques: my husband accurately says this is the toy you buy for people you hate. The song is like fire in my ears and is obnoxiously loud. I even worries a bit for my son's ears. I taped tissues over the speakers and it's quieter but only barely tolerable. Someone please tell me how I can turn off the music. It does get stuck on mats (seen in video) but both my son and I give it a tap and it's back on its way. I don't view this as a defect, honestly. It has zero suction and I do not care. Anyone expecting a toy that is a tenth the cost of a real vacuum to have suction power needs to consider this a bit more deeply.

If you have a toddler who's into cleaning items...this is your answer! So cute and sturdy and durable. My toddler is a monster and even he hasn't broken it yet! Acts like a real Roomba!! Bravo!!!!

My son (3) is obsessed with our robot vacuum and all he wanted for Christmas was a toy version. There aren’t many options out there and this one had good reviews so I got it. I cannot figure out why it has such good reviews. Cons: 1. It really only goes in circles. We even bought another one to see if the first was faulty. Nope! It just moves in circles until it runs in to something. At that point it was go straight for a short distance before going in a circle again. 2. THE MUSIC! This has been said before but the music is awful. It’s a very short song run on a continuous loop at an insane volume. You can’t turn it off or turn it down. We put a couple of layers of clear packing tape over the speaker and that at least helps with the volume. But there is no (easy way) to stop the song. Another reviewer wrote how they broke into the thing to break the speaker. We may have to try that. I cannot overstate how awful the music is. 3. The packaging advertises this as a way for kids to help their mothers with the cleaning. C‘mom. It’s 2023. Let’s stop with that garbage. Pros: 1. It resembles a robot vacuum. 2. The lights are nice. As I said, there isn’t much out there for options so if you have a robot vacuum crazed kid like mine this will work. Just make sure you hide all the knives before using it.

Bought this toy for my grandson who loves my robotic sweeper. I am happy to report that he enjoys playing with it. The sound is very loud but other than that I am very pleased with it.

Our 1.5 year old grandson is obsessed with our vacuum so we got this. He loves it, everyone else in the house, including older children, hated it within 5 minutes. The music is extremely loud and obnoxious, and there is no way to run the toy without the music blaring or to turn the volume down. Absolutely would not have purchased this if I had paid attention to the reviews. I strongly recommend you don't purchase it, we are putting it in the donation box ASAP and getting him a different one.
