Spaceships Over Glasgow: Mogwai and Misspent Youth

Authentic, entertaining and without filter.
Loved this book and found it hugely entertaining. Refreshingly honest too.If you're a Mogwai fan or were into decent indie bands in the second half of the 90s you'll love it.Similarly, if you enjoy reading about taking drugs or rock n roll excess (much of it unique...I bet Jim Morrison never boiled bin snails in a travel lodge kettle) then some of it may even leave you feeling queasy. There's loads of behind the scenes stuff about recording, music and gigs as well as background to all the classic Mogwai moments from baiting Blur to that unfortunate statement about the singer from Starsailor's granny (I laughed out loud and dropped the book when I got reminded about that one).MYT.

Interesting, Honest, Funny, Heartbreaking do yourself a favour and read it
A fantastic glimpse behind the scenes of not only life on the road and in the studio with an uncompromising band but also of a young man navigating his personal life. Brutally honest, funny and heartbreaking a real page turner.

Must for a early Mogwai fan
Reliving the memories of first discovering Mogwai and reading about Stuart's journey through making the first two records.
