Works Great!!! Just not right away... (SEE UPDATE)
Update!1/28/19NEVER STOPPED WORKING SINCE!!!100.00% reccomend this product!Long story short, here’s the problem with this HomeKit Dimmer. If you get one that has an outdated firmware version (like I did). Getting it to update and work with HomeKit properly is rather annoying and takes lots of patience. My unit works great now that it is on the latest firmware, but like I hinted at before, getting this dimmer paired successfully with HomeKit and successfully getting it to update the first time is a big hassle. This is all due to a bug with other firmware versions of the dimmer that caused it to not stay connected to your iOS devices. For example, you would be setting up the dimmer for the first time and it would pair after 10 time-invested previous attempts to get passed the "Adding accessory..." screen and It would finally be added to the Home app. Great! Right?... Not quite, you would be getting super excited about it and then the next thing you know, you are greeted with the dreaded words..... "NO RESPONSE". So, you reset power to the dimmer... same result. You un-pair and re-pair the dimmer.... "Adding Accessory............." Then you reset the unit to factory settings... *10 minutes later* It finally connected again and is working like it should for the first time! YAY! So, you get a notification that a firmware update is available. Naturally you click it and install it, easy! Right?... (Once again) No! it says unable to connect to accessory. So, you try again (20 more times) and you FINALLY see a loading bar! a minute or two later the update is installed and you no longer see any warnings or errors. And you can fully control the unit both manually and from the Home App. All is good! Right?... YES, Finally, YES! (at least for now)So, in a serious conclusion, should you buy this dimmer/switch?Well, if you understand basic wiring and electrical safety (or are willing to teach yourself) and can deal with an hour or more of potential troubleshooting. then, for it's low cost go for it! It is a nice dimmer overall and besides the fact that they still ship faulty software versions (at time of posting this review) It's really quite nice! On the wiring side of things, it's not very complex compared to a standard dimmer or switch. Because other than the neutral wire being needed for the install there is nothing different. Anyways, If troubleshooting isn't your thing then there are definitely other great options but they are more expensive. One final note:What's included in the box: * 1x Dimmer/Switch Unit with standard white faceplate * 1x Almond faceplate * 1x Manuals in 3 languages * 2x HomeKit code stickers (removable) * 1x Tech Support/Satisfaction Guarantee info sheet.*Faceplate not included!!! - any dimmer faceplate will work.

Very happy
Update: As it turns out, all of the issues I had were my fault. My wiring was not correct. Instead of powering the units with direct 120VAC, they were connected downstream between the light and neutral, so the voltage drop across the dimmers varied depending on load (brightness setting) so the power was just not stable. At full bright the dimmer only saw 50VAC and at the dim setting it was almost 120VAC. It was hard to detect this because when you check the voltage levels without the dimmer installed, there was no load, so they measured 120VAC and it gave the false indication that they were correct. Instead, the old dimmer was connected to the return side between the light and neutral, since the old dimmers were just passive variable resistors and it didn't matter. Honestly, it's amazing that the units functioned at all which is a testament to how well they are designed. My sincere apologies to Leviton for blaming the product for my mistake!I bought two of these and they both have the same problems, which leads me to believe it is a design issue. I have old wiring, but the previous dimmer (not a smart dimmer) never behaved like this. In general, they are not very stable. They both flicker at the dim end (<5%). Both started behaving erratically, cycling on and off as if they were stuck in a reboot cycle or something. The power in the house was stable as can be seen by the other lights that were on. I had to reset the units by pressing and holding the on button for 14 sec, then it went back to normal. Also, the dimming curve is not very consistent for LEDs, and all of the different setting appear to be equally bad (no difference between them). Very little change in brightness all the way downs to 60%, then it it gets a little dimmer until about 30% where it just falls off a cliff. They are going back and I'll wait for the iDevice hubless dimmer when they debut this year. Very dissspointed.

loved it until it died
Update, Called Leviton support, easy, they quickly agreed that something frapped out and sent me a new one. Had to send bad one back to quality control using their provided paid mailing label. All is good again. Only issue now is also using GE LED bulbs there is no gradual dimming, jumps from half bright to really dim, I think it is bulbs fault. Opps, one more issue, with the app. You CAN'T setup a schedule. Seems you have to use Levitons OTHER app (huh, why two??). And that app makes you create an account, and will only find the switch if you factory reset it first instead of just finding the already found/setup switch. Of course, WHY doesn't Apple have schedules in HomeKit???love Leviton, won't buy others at hardware store because I KNOW Leviton switches/dimmers/outlets work and work well. So I bought this for my sons room so he could turn off his light from bed using Siri. Worked great. He changed bedrooms, so I moved the dimmer. Had power off, pulled dimmers, rechecked wires with power on, powered back off, installed dimmer. Flipped breaker, three seconds later it made noise and tripped. Pulled dimmer, checked wires, all looking good. ??? Turned on breaker and it stayed on. Checedk room, lights were on, wouldn't turn off, wouldn't dim, indicator LEDs behaved normally, just light stayed on. Two 60W incandescent bulbs so well within specs. Dimmer just frapped out for no reason. Hopefully Leviton or Amazon will see this and honor warranty. Will give a couple days then contact Leviton customer support directly. If all goes well I will up star rating.

Not worth the price doesn’t have the features that were advertised.
Update: Had this switch several months. There was a brown out and one of my switches disconnected from the wifi. Have not been able to reconnect. Reset the device a few times every time I come in or leave the house with no luck. It’s a $65 toggle switch. I have two of these and one works fine. It occasionally disconnects but I am able to reconnect to the wifi. Based on my experiment you have a 50/50 chance of having a useful item. Not as advertised. The installation is easy enough. Had trouble connecting the switch to the app. Had to power cycle a number of times. Very annoying. The whole reason to buy these switches was to automate them. There is no automation, so the purchase was pointless. Leviton has several apps. I was only able to connect my switch through one app. This is the app that doesn’t have an automatic scheduling option. I’m hoping Leviton updates this app to make this possible. Plus I don’t want to take out all the switches just to find that ones from a different company are just as bad. I don’t recommend these. Perhaps if you already have a hub like Alexa or HomePod perhaps it’s possible to automate. Then it would be worth it to try switches from a different company.

Works well with HomeKit once you get installed and connected to your network.
You may need an electrician to install these switches as they aren't always a simple unhook old install new switch and everything works. They need a load line, neutral line, hot line, ground and a communication line between this switch and a dimmer mate switch if on a 3 way switch. This isn't straightforward. Once hooked up it might take a few tries to get setup on your network and therefore working in HomeKit. Download the Leviton app as well as some additional features are included in their app. Then you can use HomeKit to operate lights. Keep your HomeKit connection card handy as you may have to delete switch and reset up if connection is lost for some reason.

Perfect!
Exactly what I was looking and waiting for. Since it is made by Leviton the light almond face plate matched all my other switches and sockets perfectly. It's also much cheaper than the iDevices dimmer and works well with HomeKit. Only downside is it only works with HomeKit and no other protocols but not really a problem if you're in the Apple ecosystem.

Excelente dispositivo
Sus funciones son realmente buenas, al igual que su configuración. Es esencial contar con la correcta conexión del Neutro y la Fase.
