These candles serve the purpose. They looked beautiful on the tables at our wedding. They burned for the duration of the reception.

The candles that are not broken look decent, however the fact that 25% are either shattered or broken is terrible. The packaging is not sufficient for 48 glass votive holders, and the box it was in wasn’t marked as fragile so I’m sure the people processing and delivering the package were not careful. I contacted the manufacturer as that’s what Amazon directs you to do unless I want to return for a replacement, but that’d likely put me in a similar situation…

These votive candles were great for the price! They came in 4 packs of 12 and are VERY heavy. I used some modge podge to decorate half of them with teal glitter to use at my wedding. It worked really well, except when I repackaged them in the cardboard box, they did stick to the cardboard, so make sure you cover them with wax paper if you do anything like that, otherwise the glitter will get pulled off. The packaging is pretty tight to keep them intact so even adding the glitter made it hard for them to fit back in.I gave them 4 stars because they have kind of a gross smelling bread odor upon opening the package. I didn't notice it when they were lit though but the wedding was also outdoors. I did have to wipe the glass part on some of them as it was kind of waxy before painting them but it was pretty easy to clean them. I was not able to pop them out of the glass like I wanted to though to be able to paint more freely, so I did end up getting some glitter on the wax which was hard to get out.Overall, great quality for the price and you could probably reuse the glass once the candle fully burns out. We had them lit for about 6 hours at our wedding and they still had some wax left so I think they would definitely last the 8 hours as advertised. I probably would only buy them for home if I found some nice essential oil or something to make them smell better.

Sturdy candles in clear glass. Good weight. At least half of the wicks in the candle shipment I received, are off center. Generally these would have a long burn life, but since the wicks in mine are off center, I didn't have them burn all the way down. If they get the manufacturing process perfected, these would be my candle of choice.

First, for the seller. Do not post an image letting buyers think they are getting an actual box with a gold stamp of your logo. It's very misleading when really all you can afford is a generic dollar store cardboard box and a thin piece of stamped paper you lay on top. If you are going to play games like that you are going to get called out for it.These candles are generally presented nicely, but more than half do not burn through the entire votive.

This past Christmas I decided to start a little holiday tradition - both my husband and I have heritage from Norway and Sweden so we opted to get some candles for that hygge life. They looked great on the table as a holiday centerpiece and look great now as a year-round centerpiece!There were chips and glass defects in about 5 of the candle holders, but to be honest, I don't notice and if it bothers me, I can just switch them around. These came well packed, although there was a lot of cracked plastic packaging that I cleaned out of the box and you may have to wipe bits of excess wax off the glass.The candles themselves look very nice. Mine doesn't burn fat, but it's pretty as they go down, it hides the flame sometimes. They don't seem like they will last a long time, but I think the 12 hour burn time sounds right. We lit them every Sunday night for about a half an hour to an hour leading up until Christmas, and then through our dinner party on Christmas. There are still about half the candles left in them!All in all, I am happy with them and I would buy from Hosley again. I would recommend this for people planning a wedding or dinner party, and I would also recommend them for people who just want candles around the house. Good size and shape and there is no smell to them!

Worked perfect for my wedding. They were lit the entire time, 4:00PM to 1:00AM. We had to blow them out at the end of the night. I have a ton left after the wedding - also work great for candles in pumpkins at Halloween instead of using tea lights that don’t last and blow out with the wind.If you are looking for a basic white candle in clear glass that actually last the whole night - this is your candle. Would recommend.Only negative I can say is there was a bit of wax on the outside of the holder on a handful of candles but honestly, once they are lit no guests notice this in a dimmed lighting room at a wedding or event. It’s not a big deal. The value for what you pay for these is worth it.

We used these for a wedding reception. The glass it comes in is sturdy and in better quality than we expected. They are easy to light and lasted they whole night from 2pm-2am (12 hours straight). We had 3 per table that sat 8, and it added a lovely touch, they look great and are not made cheap. All 48 of them were entirely used after the 12 hours and we didn't recover any of them after the event. If you're looking for a 1-time use for an event, these will do the trick at less than $1 per candle!

Bought these for a large event. Put 4 on each table to frame my centre pieces and to learn they burnt out, wicks malfunctioned on every table and they didn’t do what I paid for.

The wax is a done a bit messy and each one needs to be wiped down as they are slightly oily. Otherwise they are good. Shipping was quick, price was right.
