High shine! Could be stickier though, but fine for crafts

It's very strong and durable tape! Adhesion is on the weaker side, but for most projects you can just touch up with glue. Great value for your buck for sure.

The Duck brand does stick well on clean, flat surfaces but does not fold well AND stay sticked to an uneven surface. I taped up a picture frame from the front to wrap to the back (I didn't want the back entirely covered since it isn't exposed). About 1/4 an inch of gold mirror tape wrapped to the back and stuck. After a few hours, the 1/4 inch had become unstuck from the back of the frame. I smoothed it back down and applied more pressure but it popped up the next day. I recommend that if you need to tape a sharp corner with this mirror tape that you leave more than 1/4 of an inch of you need to wrap an uneven surface or object. On another project, leaving 3/4 to an inch was enough to prevent the mirror tape from unsticking when wrapped around a jewelry box. Alternatively, you could also just trim the length as close as possible to the surface edge to prevent the tape from curling or unsticking. The thickness of the tape is too thick for it to lay flat I would buy again regardless!

My son's Halloween costume was Drift from Fortnite. I couldn't find cheap, black fingerless gloves that had gold across the knuckles, so I bought this tape to put on the gloves that I bought (also from Amazon). This tape stuck on (but not very well) to the rubber decal on the top of the gloves, but not the fabric itself AT ALL. I don't have any other need for this tape, so I don't know how well it works for other applications as of now. I can tell you that regular scotch tape stuck better to the rubber part of the gloves than this tape. Not very sticky whatsoever. It feels like the big chunks of foil confetti with a n extremely thin layer of adhesive. I have it 3 stars because it is a nice mirrored gold color that would probably work just fine, just not good for anything soft or flexible, and the shipping time is great. If I were to use it for any other craft, I would apply another type of adhesive first. It's a pretty tape but not sticky by any means.

This tape does not stick to anything. It's pretty, I'll give it that. Well, actually, I take it back. It sticks to paper and has the added advantage that you can easily peel it right back off.

It's shiny and gives a real mirror effect. It is slightly transparent, but it doesn't show because of the reflection and the item I used it on. It doesn't like to adhere to wooden corners, but otherwise it's working as expected. I don't know why it asks to rate the thickness for the review. It is normal thickness of duct tape...

When you think of duct tape, you may have some prior knowledge of the tape having a little give in it or stretchiness. This doesn’t, which should be expected of something with a mirror finish to it. Just FYI
