Still trying to figure out what was wrong with this vinyl
Music could be great but no way for me to enjoy it in this poor sound quality. I recently ordered three albums in vinyl, Igor, Diana Krall and Norah Jones for around $90 total. None of them sounded great, Diana Krall had least issue but the other two were so terrible to keep record playing two minutes in. Sounded not clear, muffled, and shaky bass. I later found them new with tones of static, there were crazy poos when my brush went near them. I don’t know if the static or manufacturing washing process coating made them horrible, but my liner track turntable stopped by itself in the middle of playing couple times making me feel bad. Put those okd 70-&0s record on and didn’t get these symptoms to repeat. Don’t want to buy bew vinyl anymore, expensive and poor experience leavine a bad taste in the mouth.Edit: the replacement is good and made me a believer which this album is great, 5 stars. Too bad I had to go through twice to find a good copy.

Sounds Fantastic!
It's a really good sounding LP. Arrived new and packaged well. Heavy 180g vinyl. No cracks, pops, or skips. Take away the music, the recording is terrific. And as far as the album goes, there's not a bad song on it. Can't go wrong with this one.

Excellent CD
I only knew the song Don't Know Why from the radio years ago, and it still is excellent. But there are other songs on this CD that are also excellent. They are done in a variety of styles, which keeps things fresh. For me, this was a great purchase.

An enjoyable album, but I wouldn’t place NJ amongst our greatest female vocalists.
I had been tempted to buy this album since its release some 20 years ago and finally caved. The two radio hits are terrific, but I find most of the album too slow-paced / meandering and her vocals too uninspired. IMHO, NJ is not in same the premier vocal company as Linda Ronstadt, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, Etta James or Madeleine Peroux. That being said, Nightingale and The Long Day Is Over are two stunning songs with beautiful vocals and superb guitar work. Overall, an enjoyable and worthwhile album, but wouldn’t place it in my top 50 albums.

Magical experience. Love you Norah <3
Used to play this CD on repeat when it first came out. Although it has always been one of my soul's happy places musically, I have to say that the record album that I just received is not only the melodic magic that I was hoping for, but it nearly brought me to paralysis upon seeing it as well. The CD that I used to have was *nothing* compared to the utter smack in the face that one receives by a much larger, high quality photo of the Norah that I fell in love with years ago, staring me in the face in life-size high definition. If it wouldn't smear up my new album, I'd be tempted to kiss her right on those full, beautiful lips.Inherited my grandfather's 1950s giant record stereo and this is the first vinyl album that I've purchased since the amazing music machine became mine. Never thought that a record album would be so exciting, but certainly it is worth the investment for albums that live in your heart.Of course though, just as if you give a mouse a cookie, he or she will certainly request a glass of milk, now that I have this gorgeous album, I ordered up some clear plastic sleeves to keep it pristine!Great quality, thick heavy vinyl, played both sides right away, with flawless continuation.

Blue Note Delivers
This is not a review on the Album, there is a reason why there is a 20th anniversary edition this is a fantastic album, no review needed for this. The review is on the craftsmanship of the pressing and sound, as well as the quality of the cover. Am not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination, but I do have a decent collection of records, and I enjoy good music. This album sounds great, no humming sound, no skips, and what seems best of all, it does sound like Blue Note Records pressed this edition out of the original analog source. It does not sound like a CD. One thing I did do, is clean the record as soon as I got it. I did rinse it with warm water to get rid off of any debris that could be within the groves, maybe that made a difference in comparison with those who had bad luck or negative experience with this particular pressing. Am so glad Blue Note and Mrs. Jones decided to celebrate this 20 anniversary edition. I had been looking for a copy of this album for some time without any luck. Five stars from me, hands down
