Decent leather, however it does not have a uniform thickness of 2mm. The claim is that this is 2mm thick, when I measured it the piece was thinner over several areas. Since I specifically needed 2mm thickness the lack of uniformity is a disappointment.

Pretty good product. It's pretty dense and a bit thick if you are trying to make a project for your very first time. But I made a new knife sheath for my Sheffield KBAR. Amazon wont let me add photos to most of my reviews which sucks. The finnished look is really nice and no crazy odors like most leather has.
