They are on the thicker side but not too thick for summer....

They are as stretchy as most pants made like these for babies. Easy to pull up and down and fit well over the bodysuit.

How is the fit? Im worried they might be tight like leggings and not have room. Looking at 6-9 month

I wish I could help, I don’t know. These were a gift. I’m sorry, I can tell you they did seem to be more like leggings than regular pants, there was a lot of stretch in them. But they seemed to be made well.
