I don't consider them slippery, undersized per sizing chart, or not grippy, at least for basswood. They're comfortable and light weight. Any chips landing on them were easily flicked off.Must keep in mind that gloveless hands have more dexterity....,and bandaids and stitches than hands with safety glovesI've had others that don't hold a candle to these. I recommend, and be safe!!

I got a new set of kitchen knives and learned they are much sharper than what I had been using, resulting in recurring finger injuries. These cut-resistent gloves provide good protection at a reasonable price. The order includes two gloves. I need only one, so will share the second with my sister-in-law. Unfortunately, the gloves tend to run small, so they are a snug fit. I suggest ordering a size larger than you usually would. Otherwise, I'm happy with this purchase.

I bought these to help when taking apart our meat slicer. I've used them about 10 times with no issues. They grip well on the super sharp blade and handle getting wet without an issue. So far, I haven't seen any wear and tear on the gloves from the sharp blade and they are flexible enough that I can handle the small screws and the allen wrench for those screws. I don't feel like my dexterity is affected when wearing these light weight gloves.

I do a lot of chopping of vegetables and cutting of meat. I have lost count on how many times a cut my fingers. No matter what technique I used, I always find a way to cut a finger. Finally decided to get this steel mesh glove. This also works great when using a mandolin. When you finally get tired of cutting your fingers, get this glove and be done with it.

Sizing: purchased XL , they fit like a L. They were so tight had a hard time getting my hands into them, thought I would rip them trying to get my hands into them, and then when I did get them on after a few minutes hands were going numb. Since they don't have a XXL to try will move to another brand.

Ooh La La!!! Great fit, soft, & flexible, even at A9 protection level. The chart gives a good fit. Also, the gloves will fit onto either hand so I can use them with more flexibility & wash just 1 at a time as needed or invite my friends to the party. 1st pair of protection gloves I've bought. Was worried they'd feel like they were cut out of metal window screen.
