Bought this to play with my elderly mother. Pieces are kept in a nice felt tied bag, board is not flimsy. Love this game and feel it is well made.

The classic Scrabble - Help your kids improve vocabulary and spelling while having fun family time!
This was exactly what I wanted to introduce my 10 year old daughter to Scrabble. This is a wonderful game not only for family fun, but also to help children expand their vocabulary and improve their spelling which seem to be lost talents in the age of autocorrect and AI. I encourage her to use her idevices as a thesaurus and dictionary, just like I had to do with the big paper copies in my childhood, so it makes it still feel modern for her and classic for me. The game came with high the same high quality components I expected including real wood tiles, a felt storage bag, and the classic board.

Good choice!
Scrabble has always been a favorite. I started playing with my mom when I was about 10 and now I play with my great granddaughter who is 9. It helps improve kids spelling if you don't let them get away with making up words.
