This is fantastic! Collects water from dampness in the home. Used in garages, closets, boiler room, etc. the warmer the temperature, the better it works!

These work great in our basement. It's surprising how much water they collect.

We buy these for our RV. Does a good job of absorbing extra humidity in the bathroom/washer area during the summer when we travel. During the winter we also use them in our washer/dryer room in our house to keep the humidity to a minimum.

DampRid I have used for about 5 years now. Bought my first box at Bed Bath and Beyond. Price is reasonable even though it seems there going up on the price a little. The bags you can hang in closet. Once the bag is full of water put in a plastic bag and discard it. Put a fresh DampRid up in closet. After Covid they went out of business so I went to my go to store Amazon. If you have a damp closet or room this what to use and easy to use. Just hang up in the closet. Also there is a machine that collects the water and you can empty it when the machine cuts off. Again, very easy to use. This keeps your clothing and shoes from molding, especially if you keep shoes in a box and clothes in garment bags. The bag will fill up within 2 to 3 weeks. The machine you can empty every 5 days and depending on the temperature in your closet.

My wife uses these in the laundry room and I use them in a safe. They seem to work pretty well. But...I had one break loose from the hanger and land on the floor. I had a hard time getting the gel up. I contacted the company and they advised me not to use paper towels, but to use damp cloths. That took a long time and it stained the concrete floor where it was. Not too happy with that, and definitely not happy with the response I got from the company. Their response took a week and they didn't seem too concerned about the spill. I'm presently looking for a different product.

These things are great! They have completely removed the musty/damp smell from our coat closet which had picked up an odor from kids' stinky cleats, dog leashes, and damp raincoats. We've bought them multiple times now, and each bag lasts a few months before replacement.
