Great little coin set (I bought several) for a pirate treasure chest for my 5 year old nephew. I am very happy with the quality. They are light, in plastic, prefect for him to carry around but big enough I am sure he will not swallow them.

Used these coins to create a dragon's treasure horde, worked perfectly. Great size for decorating or as party favors, play gold, etc.

Nice coins. Most were fine, a few were slightly discolored (the gold faded, revealing silver) and had uneven edges, though they were not sharp. The diameter was about one inch, so the coins are not appropriate for kids under 3, but they're fine for older kids. Overall I was satisfied.

Well the bad news is that they won't pass off as authentic gold pirate doubloons. (The guy at the liquor store was a real jerk when I tried to buy a bottle of top shelf scotch with them.) But they make fun party favors. Guess that'll do.

I had very low expectations for quality when I ordered, and I expected them to be "cheaply made" but these were bad. They were discolored, black on the edges, and the packaging looked old and worn. I threw them out and didn't even give them to my kids to play with--I was worried about the discoloration of the material and potential risks to my kids. I've hit some winners on Amazon--this is not one of them.

These coins worked our wonderfully. I used them as drink "tickets" for my 50th bday party, which had the theme "Livin' My Life Like It's Golden". Every guest received a gold coin for a complimentary drink at the bar.

These things are soooo cheap. You can see the black plastic they are made of on nearly every piece. The gold doesn't cover the entire piece. The gold also chips off, so if you have a little one that might put it in his/her mouth, don't buy these. I threw them out within a week I was so disappointed with the quality.

Very thin and cheap plastic but that is what I needed. We used these to make Leprechaun traps in my classroom!
