Very engaging
My kids love this. They beg to do pages from here and I have to stop them from trying to finish everything at once.

I can't wait for summer!
I can not wait to preorder this as a physical copy. I went through the digital copy with my five year old and we are plotting out which activities we can do this fall. I'm completely getting this book for summer of 2022 to do with her (she will be six then). This book has a great mix of sticker activities, matching, mazes, experiments, math, science, and fun facts/ information about so many different animals. I will say it again, I am so excited for this book. We are looking to complete the 100o hours outdoor challenge and this book will really help with it. Great job on this book!

Engaging and educational!
I love this nature-based workbook for children. It teaches about so many aspects of nature and encourages curiosity and exploration. The activities are engaging, many of which can be jump-off points for further investigation. I especially love the ones where you take what you learn outside to explore. This book is a must-have to encourage children to be interested and educated about the natural world.

Age range is off
I’d say this nature book is more for a younger audience than listed. The activities are very basic but at least they make interactive suggestions. There not much educational content. If I had another go around I’d pass

What better teacher than the natural world?
This Nature Smart book is so fun. What could be more magical, entrancing and yet more simple than creating a coverboard habitat for small creatures out of a square piece of wood!…and then checking it each day to see who is visiting! The books in this series are chock full of activities for nature based educators and their charges.

Fun and interactive for pre-K!
A wonderful, fun, interactive science workbook for pre-K and early elementary! Younger readers will need support from a reading partner to understand the text and activity directions, but the illustrations are bright and engaging and will help them connect with each lesson. There' are lots of interactive activities, from mazes and games to drawing spaces to journal prompts to hands-on projects like bird feeders and track maps. The variety is enough to engage all kinds of learners and there are even some basic math exercises to encourage cross-subject learning. This would be a wonderful gift to spark curiosity about nature and would also make a great enrichment activity to do as a family. Many of the lessons could also be shared in the classroom as a part of a science unit. Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

Pretty simple
I got this for my 5 year old and he basically did the book in one day minus the experiment type things. It was way too easy for him. I was super excited and had heard good reviews. We may try the next level to see if it gets a little more challenging. Otherwise we will look for something with more in depth information. I should state we are a nature family so these concepts might be more difficult to families who aren't in nature all the time.
