Moluccan Cockatoo Loves These Cardboard Chew Rings
Wow! My Moluccan Cockatoo LOVES these cardboard chew rings. And that's saying something because Mango does not like the usual assortment of parrot toys and chews. I've hung them form a a dog collar chain. She enjoys destroying 2 or 3 of these rings per day so I have them on Subscribe and Save. They come with four 5" chains and 8 spring clips to attach the rings to the cage bars or play stand, which is a nice touch. They're colorful. They're a good value since it's better the birds pick on these than on themselves. They're safe. The thickness is just right so a couple last her 24 hours and keep her entertained.

My birds love these, but pricey for how long they last
I got my bigger birds (umbrella cockatoo, galah cockatoo, amazon, eclectus, senegal) the full toy with the rings on them. They loved it. The cockatoos go through these like crazy so I'm constantly refilling the toy with these rings. Everyone likes them, they like to peel the layers off. I'll put one ring on a single plastic loop from the full toy and let them use it as a hand toy. My silly galah goes around flipping the plastic ring so that the cardboard donut slams on whatever surface he's standing on. Don't go for the cheap Chinese knockoffs. Those things are thinner and my birds won't even touch them. I'm wondering if they can smell something I can't, like a chemical or something that's making them avoid the rings. Even my umbrella, who eats my walls (and furniture and anything he can get his beak on) won't touch the knockoffs. They're a bit expensive (over 50 cents each for glorified loops of toilet paper rolls?) but it's still cheaper than buying from the company website directly for now. Just know that all my bigger birds can go through one ring in less than 5 minutes. I've tried this in my conure and cockatiel's cages but I think it's too hard for them or they just weren't into them.

My african grey really likes to chew these. Seems to have alot of fun tearing them up.
