Almost 5 Stars. This is a heavy duty tape. Literally! It is thick and difficult to tear off pieces without a seriously good cutter on one's dispenser. I tested every one in my office and shop.... none were up to the task. The solution was to modify the cutter on one with a jeweler's file; works perfect now. The gum sticks well to every surface I've yet tried. And those include surfaces where other Scotch-brand tapes failed. Good quality product at a great value. I do recommend it to others, with the caveat that a sharp cutter is required.

Best tape for wrapping gifts. Use this for so many different needs. I love using my old, weighted dispenser, so I buy these is bulk. Great buy!

Great product, worth the effoprt to find.
Its easy to loose the memory of what adhesive tape used to be. After years of using cheap knock off tapes that break, tear unevenly and often hardly stick at all, I decided to search out the brand that started it all. Transformational. The tape just glides off the roll. It actually sticks, yet comes off cleanly, the roll cuts. I remember that this was normal. Great product, worth searching out

Finally found the proper big size roll!
It's so hard to find the proper big sized roll to fit the desk dispenser. It seems like 99% of tape rolls are the small things like you'd find in the dollar store (unless it's packing tape of course). Amazon doesn't help matters by saying "frequently bought together" with a picture of a kids sized tape dispenser, that this roll wouldn't fit. The internal diameter of this roll is about 75mm, it would have helped if that was in the description, too.
