Tapered Spacer Kit, Orange

This needs to be taken off the shelf. It's too ridged and doesn't allow for any flexibility under the barrel. Waste of my 💰 and time on the range. It never worked.

I purchased these tapered shims in case I needed these for different barrel's. Good investment in case you need them. In my case, for the rifle I'm setting up, I did not need them but, I have them if I need them for another rifle.

I was disappointed that this was not included with the Magnetospeed unit as a large percentage of rifle barrels are tapered. But, the price of these was low enough that I can live with having to buy them separately. They appear to space the sensor more than the maximum recommended by Magneto, but I have had 100% success with getting readings.

I used them for five of my rifles with tapered barrels. They work fine but why can’t Magnetospeed include $5 spacers with a $300+chrono??? Gotta take a star off my rating for that.

They work exactly as expected - add the appropriate shim amount to your MagnetoSpeed. Likely should be provided with each as most barrels are tapered anyways.I gave it 4 stars as the shim degree amount could be labeled but it was not - otherwise 5 stars.I used on my Daniel Defense MK12 that has a slight taper at the tip instead of a straight barrel - worked perfect.

One of those "in case I need it" items. So far I haven't needed it so it's tough to rate.They fit well, won't damage the gun, add more space if needed. I think that covers it.

Like others said it should have came with. Can't wait till the sun comes up to test them out. I have a few rifles with a tapered barrel that I was always scared to use the magneto speed on. Defintly worth getting.
