Surprisingly Comfortable Posture Chair for Long Desk Hours!
The Giantex kneeling chair has been a great upgrade for my home office setup. At first, the design felt unusual compared to a regular desk chair, but after using it for a few days, I noticed I was sitting much more upright and putting less strain on my lower back and shoulders. The gentle rocking motion actually makes sitting feel more natural and helps avoid stiffness during long work sessions. The cushions are soft enough to stay comfortable, and the wooden frame feels sturdy and stable with a solid weight capacity. One thing to keep in mind is that it may take some time for your knees and posture to adjust if youโve never used a kneeling chair before. Itโs also best to switch between this and a regular chair during the day at first.

Great for back relief but not fantastic for short-legged people
I found this pretty easy to assemble by myself; if you can handle Ikea furniture, you should be fine. It looks nice and works well for a starter chair on a budget. I am 5'1" with short legs and the tops of my legs are not quite long enough to use the chair properly--I either sit back and my knees don't reach the knee pads and I slowly slide down or I can lean forward with my butt half on the seat, but then all my weight is on my knees. It fits my partner who is 6'1" perfectly and we'll be keeping it for him while I explore options for adjustable chairs. As others have said, despite tightening the screws, it is a bit wobbly but not so wobbly it's hard to use or feels dangerous. UPDATE: After researching more, I think it's wobbly by design to encourage active sitting, He's been using it as his only chair and no problems.

Fell apart
This chair was a pain to put together, and right from the beginning was very wobbly despite assembling it correctly and re-tightening all of the connections repeatedly. It wasn't super comfortable because I always felt a moment away from tipping over. Then, the whole thing fell apart completely after a couple weeks of use. Luckily, I was able to get a refund.

Fixed my back pain
Pretty good chair. My back pain feels much better after using it for some days. It helps my sitting posture and keeps my back straight. Cushion is comfortable too. Only one thing I donโt like is it cannot adjust height or angle. Overall, I am happy with it.

Just okay
Assembly: Putting IKEA furniture together is my super power - never have any difficulty with that. But this was hard to assemble! The instructions are just two diagrams of how things fit together with no further guidance. Plus some of the pieces did not align very well, which made fitting them together quite difficult. Sitting in it, my lower back does feel good and there is a little bit of rock to it. But to follow what others have said, it feels super flimsy and like it's going to break any second. And I tightened the screws to their max potential! Seems like it needed another support beam or two to stabilize it a bit more.

Great chair
Fashionable chair that is both used for home decor and health body benefit. Pros: new sitting position. Very supportive and comfortable for long hours. Lovely design. Rocking base. Cons: Wish it has more options for color to choose from Details: Dimension : 28"D x 20"W x 22"H. Weight: 13.00 lbs I have been wanting a kneeling chair for a while. However, I haven't found one that I really like. A lot of them look like massage chair type or office chair type or doctor office chair type, very boring style. I saw this and immediately got it. Because I'm a sucker for a rocking chair! This combination is a no-brainer, plus it looks so good with the exposed wood style. This one keeps me in an upright and aligned sitting position. It actually feels very comfortable and somewhat relieving because my spine will align with my neck and my shoulders. The wood type is birch so I know itโs very tough and durable so it will still be good years from now. Iโm not heavy but my husband is haha. Donโt tell him. He also feels very comfortable sitting on this well designed chair. It can hold up to 330 lbs. It rocks well , and at the same time does not scratch our precious dark wooden floor. Iโm very happy about this. I also feel like I add a bit of exercise while sitting here. It rolls back and forth so i use a bit of my core muscles, it also helps effectively move me to different position and not suck at one place. The seating and kneeling pads are firm and solid, but they are not too hard that they hurt. Itโs more like a firm support but also at the same time spongy. The fabric does not irritate sensitive skin, which I have. The more I sit on this chair, the better my back feels. Itโs also a great decor piece in my living room. All of my friends and family keep on complimenting us about this, so apparently, itโs also a great conversation piece.

First, I came with a gnat's a$$ of returning the item as the directions were HORRIBLE. For inatance, there are 3 support bars, all different sizes, yet they're ALL labeled part A as if they were exactly alike. They have a slant so you have to figure how and where they go. Once together an hour later, I tried it out the next day. After about 30 minutes my legs began to hurt where the leg cushions were on my shins. The butt cushion is hard and after a while the tush began to hurt. The angle of the tush cush is not adjustable and thus the angle is uncomfortable after a while. Because of the price I use it every day, but I am constantly adjusting my posture because the seat is uncomfortable, and constantly repositioning my legs because of the shin pain. I used to have a kneeling chair in the 80s that was comfortable and I think what made it comfortable was the fact the seat was adjustable and the knee rest was a solid cushion across the front and the shins never really rested on a cushion. I will continue to look for one like the oldie but goody. This one is not it.

Works well even at the upper end of the weight limit.
I ordered this chair specifically because I needed a higher weight limit than most of the similar chairs out there, and this one has delivered as promised. I'm at about 320lbs, 6'5" and it works reasonably well. The chair seat does come touch the backs of my calves a tiny bit, but not enough to cause discomfort. I wouldn't try it if you weigh much more though, as I can imagine that pinching being a problem. I like the ability to rock back and forth in it, giving me a chance to adjust my pelvis to different positions to relieve some of my chronic back pain that is associated with bad posture. The directions for assembly weren't great, but they were adequate. It was a bit tough to figure out the exact arrangment of parts in 3 dimensions because they could be installed backwards or upside-down if you weren't careful. It shouldn't present any challenges if you pay attention to details and apply a lot of common sense about what the finished product should look like.

Comfortable, but seat too high
I bought this chair to replace my original Balans Kneeling Chair (which I've had for 50 years). I had no trouble assembling this chair - I knew how it went together. But when it was assembled, although the wooden base was the same height as my original chair, the 3 1/2" foam seat and shin padding made the chair too high for my computer desk or sewing machine stations. So after asking a local upholsterer for an estimate on changing the seat and shin padding, I decided to take the seat apart and change the padding myself. I replaced the 3 1/2" very firm composite foam with 1" polyester padding. Now that I've removed close to 3" from the height, the seat is fine. Oh, I also removed the frontmost slat from the chair since it's in the way of my foot pedal on my sewing machine. The chair doesn't need it - my original Balans chair has just a single separator at the curve - no other reinforcing struts so I knew I could remove that front one safely. The chair works fine, now. The photo is the "after" shot - with the reduced padding.
