If i would have read the directions and olaces the spools in the glue it would have been way cuter, but was fun to do with my daughter

After following the directions the kit did not meet the excitement. The string would not stick to the balloon. We worked for over an hour and nothing, Kit was trashed. Not sure why there was two balloons and glue containers. Instructions did not indicate the kit was for two. Very disappointed.

Giftable, and fun for all ages.

This craft has a nice concept but it really takes a lot of patience and time to get it to look like the pictures if you can. Lots of glue left on the string when dried- hard to get the string around the balloon by yourself- really needs 2 sets of hands to complete. Wouldn't recommend.

Great birthday gift

This project is terrible!String keeps coming off and frustrates the child.Even I got frustrated!Makes a big mess and child did not want to finish it.Was alot of money for junk!Don't buy this.

The end product is beautiful. It's pretty messy in the creation process however kids will love the end product. Give it a try!

Before you start, you might want to check the video on amazon for some helpful tips.For us, we didn't and what a mess at the beginning! So first we would add the glue to the bowl. Then we add the string in it (wrong). Stick it to the balloon as tight as possible (one person rotating the star while the other control the string.) Beware with knots. There wasn't enough glue for 2 balloons. Also, only 1 string of lights unfortunately. (2 AA batteries not included).We added more strings on the corners. The final result is pretty nice and kids are super excited to hang it in their room.

First of all, I was quite pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the items. I’ve done this kind of kit before, and this is a lot better one. The strings have vivid color and are made of quality thick material that will maintain its shape after the glue get all dried up, not to speak of the mess-free end result around the string. The kit comes with two quality *large* balloons, one is actually a back-up, but given the more than enough length of three spools of the strings, you can actually make two instead of one. In fact, if you just make one using all three strings, it’s going to be too cramped. I ended up making a star with just two favorite colors of my kid’s, and it looked great. Highly recommend this product. Make sure you read the enclosed instructions well before you start making, especially how you let the strings soak up the glue first. This is a secret to making a beautiful 3D string lantern.

Easy enough to follow. It is messy but hardened well and looks cute when its done. Definitely need parental assistance.
