Love my boat. more updates 5/13/2020
I love this boat. It works great. I also bought another set of rails and a trolling motor. I have taken my boat out 4 times so far and had a great time every time.I have had a couple of questions and 2 problems. All were taken care of within a day or two. 1 problem was that the rod holders I bought did not come with gaskets to fit the railing. The other problem was that I leaned too hard on the railing and bent the corner post. Gaskets and new post sent with no problems. When the boat is all put together it is a little heavy. I bought a kayak cart to help with launch.Love my boatUpdate: last time out a big boat came by and created huge wakes. I had to hang on for dear life as my boat violently rocked back and forth. Thought for sure we were going to capsize but we did not. Very stable. This boat does rock some (it’s an inflatable) but is very stable.Have used my boat about 40 times now. Still love my boat.I have added a trailer to my boat just to make my life easier. Also the customer service is just outstanding. They have fixed every problem, answered every question, and done so quickly.

Nice pontoon boat with minor issues.
I have only used the boat once, so here is my first impression. The boat material seems pretty sturdy, the floor is basically 4 "slabs" of aluminum that you put together, they are pretty heavy by themselves, and I don't think they would ever bend under normal use. The "clamps" that hold the floor together are plastic, for the price, I would've liked a more premium material, but they seem pretty sturdy. I weigh 240 lbs, and when I stood where the aluminum "slabs" are joined to each other, they would flex downward, they did hold up pretty well though. The grab bars are a bit flimsy, don't expect to lean on them with all your weight, they are more for holding on for balance. The pontoons are of a very thick material, I don't think they will get a puncture easily. The oars are pretty standard, they seem durable. The bouyancy is very good, I tested it with approximately 750 lbs and it had absolutely no problem, and it shouldn't have for It is rated for a maximum of 970 lbs, pretty impressive! One thing that I found annoying was the rowing. You don't have much space and whenever I did the rotating motion, I had to keep my legs closed pretty tight, but not a deal breaker. I'm 6' 2", 240 lbs, maybe a very petite person or a kid wouldn't have a big issue.I like the boat a lot, but the reason why I give it four stars, is because one of the screws for the floor had a bad threading and it messed up the nut that it was supposed to be screwed on. I had to buy a small tool set with an adjustable wrench to remove the screw, because it would spin but it wouldn't come off, it was a real nightmare. Maybe I'll ask the seller for a spare screw and nut, or maybe a quick stop at Home Depot to see if I can find something. Another minor issue was that the allen key they sent to use with a hand drill was very bent, it still did kind of work, however. All the parts came in boxes, and only a small drawstring bag came with the screws. I saw some unboxing videos and they all included a really nice looking brown backpack for the rest of the parts. I contacted the seller about the backpack and they told me they had recently "updated" (more like downgraded) the packaging and that the brown backpack was no longer included, so that was a bummer, and now I have to buy a separate duffel bag to put away the rest of the parts. To put the boat together is a lot faster with a drill, trust me. To inflate the pontoons you could use the included foot pump, it will take about 15 mins total, you can get an electric pump if you want, but the foot pump works just fine. The boat feels pretty heavy, so make sure you're close to the water, and I would recommend 2 to 3 people to lift it.In conclusion, I really like the boat, however, for the price, I would have liked less plastic and more aluminum, also the brown backpack would've been very nice and helpful. Would I recommend it? Hmmm, if you can live with the issues and you have the money, sure, go for it, the boat is pretty nice, but look into getting a motor, trust me, it will make your life a lot easier.

Think Before You Purchase
Please note that this is MY experience with this boat. Let me be clear that the boats and their quality are very good. They are steady, it keeps you afloat and you can comfortably fish. I'm 6ft and 260lbs, and I'm pretty comfortable. I've taken my boat out 4 times for full day fishing trips. There's just some issues that I wish someone would have mentioned before I made this commitment. What I mean by "Think Before You Purchase" is that you need to think about EVERYTHING! Not just the boat itself (which is perfectly fine and does what it says it does) but storage, add-ons/modifications, weight, your intended use etc.I live in an apartment, and this boat was the solution to my problem of owning a fishing boat! I bought the Heavy-Duty version because my end result (modified) version of this boat was to be used all day at big lakes in my area, to be self sufficient for a full day of fishing.Build time.... if you use this boat "as is" with oars a seat and no add-ons, then yes it goes together pretty fast. I put 2 boats together in about 1 hour 20 minutes. But if you want a motor, you need a battery (Marine batteries are freaking heavy!), extra seat, extra rails, ice chest, rods, tackle box (or boxes) and anything else you will need, your build can add up to 2 hours! Then it's very very heavy! I'm not sure about all lakes, but building right on the boat launch so you're right on the water might not be acceptable to lake staff or other boaters. In California, you must register boats with ANY type of motor and lakes only allow launching from a designated boat ramp. Weight is a definite issue! If they sold a portable boat cart specifically for these boats that folded up nicely and didn't take up much space..... I WOULD BUY IT!Speaking of weight. The parts of this boat, on their own are HEAVY! As I said, I'm in an apartment, my car is not right next to my door, so I have to carry these things up and down (remember, you have to store it when you get home). If you get the larger, heavy-duty models, you better not just have a Prius, it won't fit. I have a Hyundai Tuscon and (with all the extras) it takes up the entire back, seats folded down. I've bought a large duffle bag to carry pontoons and poles, a large storage box for all the misc parts, a folding dolly just for my trolling marine battery, plus my rods, tackle boxes and food/drink coolers and a 55lbs thrust trolling motor! This is why I say THINK before you buy!Another issue was that some of the bolt lengths were too short, especially for where the oar holders attach where you need that extra 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Some of the bolts weren't great quality to attach the seats, so those had to be replaced. I'm not talking about a bag of bolts from Home Depot that cost $4.99, you need bolts that are strong and won't rust. Stainless steel bolts and washers are expensive! And finally storage! I'm aware that lots of people have houses and garages and space, but I'm talking to those that do not! You're gonna need a pretty good size space to store parts and accessories. So be aware of that. For the Heavy-Duty models, the nice little back pack that stores everything is not happening. On a side note, some people concern themselves with..... should I get an electric pump or just use the foot pump that's supplied? I've used both, of course an electric pump is better, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. The foot pump works perfectly fine.

Great product and great seller
I like the size of the fishing deck. Plenty of room to fish. I have a 40 pound thrust trolling motor on the back and as stated by manufacturers suggestion should be at least 55. It would improve my speed. The deck is loud and pops when I move around. Because of the width of the deck the grooves between sections should be much bigger. The seller has been easy to work with as I returned a very small boat . Had to pay shipping back but I am good with that since it was a dislike not a failure of product. It takes longer to put together and inflate than they recommend but it’s worth the extra time because of the extra room makes a day on the water more enjoyable.
