Powerful, quiet and comfortable! Love it 👍🏻
Easy to assemble right out of the box, just follow the instructions closely, not that much to do. Once assembled, I waited for a decent weather day in February here in Michigan to test it out. I already had two 80V 4ah batteries from my Greenworks power mower I recently purchased, that’s why I ordered the tool only. I had an area on my property I didn’t get to during fall cleanup (using my old gas powered backpack blower) so was anxious to test it out during a mild 50 degree February day on 2/12/23. I inserted a battery and WOW, was so impressed from the moment I squeezed the trigger. It is very powerful. I am very pleased with its performance, even to blow stubborn leaves embedded in ground cover as you can see in my video. I hardly even needed to use the turbo function but did at times for testing purposes. It’s lighter than my old gas backpack blower and also more comfortable to wear. I operated it around 30 minutes total with/without turbo, mostly without because it’s powerful enough without, but there will be times to utilize turbo and you will know when. I highly recommend it if you want a great, powerful blower that doesn’t require gas/oil, spark plug, air filter, etc. It actually exceeded my already high expectations! I’m a 73 year old man with some mobility issues so appreciate the advantages of this particular blower. Love it! I’m glad I already have the two 4ah batteries to take advantage of purchasing just the blower. It’s always nice to have a spare battery.

Very nearly an excellent blower
I moved up from a corded electric blower (Stihl BGE 60) and this is a huge improvement. It blows pine needles and even pine cones, at least into stacks that can be picked up with a rake. It also took on our natural area with ease, where it was able to pick up and move matted patches of decayed leaves and pine needles, again to move into piles for pickup with a rake. The turbo switch is a great help with this, but also uses up the battery a lot faster. I have the 4 amp battery, which is good for a hour or so, depending on how much you use the turbo switch. I do recommend the 4 amp battery over the 2 amp battery if you have a lot of trees; you won't notice the extra weight in the backpack. (I also have the Greenworks lawnmower, so the cost of the battery is shared over these two tools.) Not having to deal with a gasoline engine, especially the 2-cycle models that are common on blowers, is a big plus. Ergonomically, the backpack is very comfortable once you get it adjusted. The trigger lock is a nice touch, so you don't have to grip the trigger to keep it running. This makes the blower tube light and easy to handle. You feel virtually no vibration, another huge improvement over hand-held models. Cons: First, it is purely a right-side blower; if you need to blow under shrubs that are only accessible on your left, you'll have to make two or three passes to get leaves out from under the shrub and moved to an area where you have more freedom of movement. Second, the blower tube angles down more than I'm used to with a hand-held blower, so when you need to get close to the ground for large piles or mats, you have to lean over more. Overall, I'd give it a 4.8; any design with have its compromises, but it's hard to imagine a better blower for home use at such a reasonable price.

Better than gas
I had the 80v snowblower and started looking for leaf blowers and settled on this one. I'm impressed by the power but this is not at the same level as the normal gas blowers that I've used. It's about the same level as a mid level hand blower (better than the cheap less powerful ones). It works for everything I need it to do. The backpack part really isn't necessary since it's not THAT heavy but it is nice to only have to move the tube with your hand to blow leaves around and not the whole unit like normal. The only downsides are the battery life and a strange hiccup now and again. I can do snowblowing for a long time but this eats up energy fast even without the super power button. There's also time and again where the motor starts to spin up and then stops and I have to wait for a few seconds and then try again. It works fine otherwise so it's mostly just annoying. Overall I would buy again as it works well for my needs (I don't need the long run times so bad) and I technically could upgrade to a 4Ah battery for longer runs (for $200+...ouch). If I didn't already have the 80v battery system I probably would have looked around more. Not dealing with 2 stroke gas engines (aka gas mixing and hard starts) is so much better.

It works as advertised but has a few downsides, read on.
This is my first battery powered blower. I’ve had corded and gas power. Corded was light but leashed, gas was heavy and smelly, both felt easily capable of delivering highly directed wind speeds. Until now all I’ve owned were in line blowers, I figured I’d splurge a little on a backpack battery powered. I’d already bought into the greenworks lineup and been very pleased. This blower is good, just different. It works really well and I’m easily able to complete all blowing in less than 1 charge. And the backpack is comfortable! What’s not to love? 3 little things 1. whistle a mid to high note. This is all my previous blowers, no open the ‘O’ of your lips to whistle the lowest note you can, that’s this blower. Oh it moves leaves and watch out when you hit that turbo button, it’s impressive, yet the airstream doesn’t feel like it’s as constricted and vectored for the rpms, but it sounds like it ramps up to much higher rpms than my other blowers 2. For the pice I expected it to not feel so cheap plasticky, I don’t think it will break, but fit and finish aren’t great 3. I figured an electric backpack blower would be less awkward largely due to the semi rigid flexi tube that forms the 90 degree bend from the backpack to the whatever the wand? Thing is called. Comfortable while blowing and the rigidity makes it effortlessly light, but getting it on and storing it are a bit more cumbersome than I expected The sum up: totally recommended without reservations, the little things haven’t impeded any functionality.

Product was an upgrade from the model I ordered which was a bonus. 180 mph max blower output is very strong. The back pack design is great because the motor and battery combined are about 13 lbs. The blower tube is sufficiently long and easy to maneuver. My first use with the 5A battery was about 20 minutes at a range of power settings used 20% of the battery. So far I am very happy with this product.

I have the Greenworks 80v snowblower and that massive battery needed another place to play. This blower replaces a gas-fired unit used for light snow, of which we get a lot. So the neater, quieter approach to moving both snow and leaves is a great step forward. The large battery is challenging to install and remove, but otherwise this thing is great. Recommended.

Powerful enough to blow gravel off driveway Quiet enough to not need ear plugs Lightweight

Battery is trash. You wont get as much power as you would from a gas powered blower but it does the trick. I use it mostly for snow. In extreme cold -30⁰c and lower it will die in 5 minutes flat. With leaves if you use the turbo feature...which you will cause its gutless otherwise. it will die in about 10-15mins. I had to buy another battery to make it worth my time. So far the only upside is i can blow off my walk at 5am when I get off a night shift without waking the neighbors cause it just sounds like a vacuum cleaner.
