Nice mid tier quality. Solid wood good, sturdy for larger bodies. Not too short, not too tall height. Some dings on the wood from manufacturing but I will also put dings in from use so it wasn't a problem for me. I bought three. All easy to add the canvas to the frame, no other assembly required. Recommend.

First let me say that I like this chair a lot, I've always been a fan of director's chairs and this one's pretty nice. It's not as nice as one I used to have where the back rest was larger and actually swiveled, but oh well, that was a long time ago. I plan on using this chair as an occasional chair only in my studio apartment, and for that purpose it will be ideal. It's substantial and heavier than I thought it would be. The color of the wood seems true to the product photo, but the red canvas seating and back are pretty bright! I still like it though... What I'd like to tell you though is my experience with it straight out of the box. It was easy to set up the seat and back pieces, but I couldn't get the braces to lock in flat. Not possessing great upper body strength, I tried different approaches without success. I ended up using my rubber coated hammer handle, standing and pushing down with my whole weight on the braces. I knicked my pinky the first time, and now I have a bruise, so be careful if you have to use this method. The frame had several little knicks and mysterious tiny holes here and there, so I used a furniture scratch repair marker to disguise those. The sliders on the feet weren't to my liking as well, so I unscrewed them and replaced them with cup sliders for carpet use. All in all this is a great chair, it just needed a tweaking...

Very good quality. Solid wood, good thick canvas. Only thing I wish is that the wood was a lighter color. Really great product. Even my large husband finds them comfortable. The hinge/latch is stiff so we’ll see what happens when I have to fold him up again...

Bought a bunch of these a few years ago. They have been great and very sturdy. Bought 2 more recently and they are not the same quality. Only used them a couple of times and one of the arms broke off! The gotcha is that that if you don't discover the issues before you dispose of the packaging then it is a serious pain to return it, even it's possible to return just one. I glued and screwed the arm back on. Will see if that works...

THE PACKING BOX WAS VERY DAMAGED!!! But pleased with the directors chair which was not damaged 2 hinges VERY DIFFICULT to move into place

Me gustó mucho esta silla para las sesiones que he hecho últimamente para profesionales. Llegó con la caja medio dañada y unos rasponsitos pero eso es culpa de la compañía de delivery (aveces no tratan muy bien los paquetes) no puedo quitarles estrellas por algo que ello no hicieron. Love my chair, I solely use this for makeup application.

Love the chair, especially the colour of the navy back and seat! Haven't bolted on the footrests yet. I have a bar height table --and it has a very strong footrest of steel. So we can put our feet up on that cross-bar. Don't hurt your bare hands trying to push down the hinge on the chair. I placed my foot, wearing a rubber-soled slipper, on the hinge and gently but firmly pushed down with just enough pressure to move the hinge easily down into locked position. Can't wait for warm weather!

I can't recommend this chair, as the frame split the first time we used it and it collapsed under my husband. Fortunately he wasn't injured. Since we'd ordered it more than a month before the event we used it at, by the time the chair proved defective it was beyond Amazon's 30-day return date, and when we contacted the seller directly, they refused to help us.
