I use my iphone to record my step count but I have wanted to try one of these watches for a while so was happy to review this item.I have quite small wrists. I could fasten the strap on the second to last hole! I don't think many women would need all the hole sizes provided as I doubt their wrists would be that size! The strap is soft and comfortable. When you look at the product photos the clock face size can look deceiving. I found it too big. It doesn't look right on my small wrist but that's personal choice. I'm also not keen on the gold colour as I'm not a lover of gold and prefer silver. However, it was easy to set up and it has a range of functions although I would not use them all as I'm too used to using my phone.Price is reasonable if you want a cheaper alternative to an Apple Watch.

I absolutely love it
This is a great smart watch for the ladies. With all the functions needed to record your health and fitness. What is great about it is that it is so easy to setup and use. I found it worked better scanning the QR code on page 5 of the instruction booklet, rather than the code shown on the watch. The time automatically adjusted as soon as I linked to my mobile phone. The smart watch is touch screen and responds very accurately to touch. Testing it thoroughly, I found every function worked perfectly, just as it should, and I absolutely love it.There is a choice of displays, and you can choose the one which most suits your taste. To make a choice according to your preference, just hold your finger on the clock face until the choice is displayed, then swipe your finger left or right and select the one you fancy. Likewise, to select your activity, swipe up or down to the desired function. The larger than normal rubber watch strap feels very comfortable to wear. The screen is good quality as well as being large and easy to read. When fully charged it lasts for about a week, then it will need recharging which takes about an hour. The charging is magnetic. It is waterproof, so if you forget to take it off when washing your hands, it will remain unaffected and safe. With numerous sports modes and 24 hour all day activity and sleep tracking, heart rate monitor, music player, smart notifications and reminders, stop watch.... and much more... it does everything you could possibly need. Very impressive. For just £49.99 this smart watch is vastly cheaper than the well-known top brands, whose prices often run into £100s plus. Why pay exorbitant prices, when you can have this one, which is just as good, for a fraction of the cost?

Good Value Metal Cased Fitness Watch... But The Length May Be An Issue If You Have Smaller Wrists
I got this for my wife and it looks great, has a lot going for it but in day to day use some issues/niggles came to light.CASEThe watch case is made from metal so feels more premium than plastic and may go somewhere to justifying the slightly higher price point than its plastic competitors. Being polished mean it does catch the light well but the flip side is that it is a bit of a fingerprint magnet. In terms of dimensions, the case is approximately 30mm wide and 46mm long, with a 52mm lug to lug length. That 52mm is a slight issue as it means that on smaller wrists, the watch case will create an overhang/gap (see photo). My wife has 15 cm (6 inch) wrists and because the watch is a long slab, it is a bit of a problem. The rear of the watch features the health sensor as well as the magnetic charging points.STRAPThe comfortable strap has 12 holes of adjustment and is 19 mm at the widest part and tapers down to 17mm at the clasp. If you did want to change straps (easily done thanks to the quick release spring bars), you would need a strap with a 16mm lug width. My watch had a bit of staining on the buckle when first unboxed which was not great but it seemed to rub off (see my collage photo)APP & PAIRINGYou need the Hero Band 8 app which I found on the Google play store. Pairing was easy, you open the app and add the device. You don't need to register for an account but will have to grant access to certain permissions if you want to get the most out of it. It's a simple but effective app and I quite like the interface.OPERATIONThe elongated screen is responsive to swipes and taps and you have a default choice of seven watch faces to choose from. More are available in the app (free of charge) but you will have to remove one from the six stored on the watch. Sometimes she found that responsiveness to be a bit too responsive and you can find yourself accessing something you didn't intend to.A good selection of fitness and health options are available - heart rate, oxygen levels, blood pressure, steps, lengths etcTilting your wrist will activate the watch face after 1 second or you can press the side button to activate. This side button also acts as a "home" button when you are within the watch functions. She found that the step counter may slightly over exaggerate the number of steps as we found there was a disparity between the watch and what her phone stated when she did routine walks that we have a good idea of what should be the result.CONCLUSIONSIf you are after a metal cased but affordable fitness watch, and are either ok with the slight case overhangs or have slightly larger wrists, then this has a lot going for it. For us though, I think the more squarer shorter cased fitness watches would fit better and give very similar access to fitness information.
