Not very functional if you have an active dog
Looks well built and is handsomely designed, and I like the canvas better than the usual rip stop. Unfortunately the design of the outside drink bungee is a deal breaker. On our hikes my dog chases varmints through bramble and it wouldnt take her ten seconds to snag this pack all to bits and give herself whiplash because of bungee cables that don’t need to be there. (The pack itself is large enough to hold a small water bottle.) And then, for little reason but decoration (or to attach more objects to cause snags, if you like...), there’s a big strip on both packs of literal Velcro. VELCRO. Fabric engineered to snag other little bits of fiber... or dirt, or cactus spines, or the horse poop my dog loves to roll in. The pack would be much more practical in our case if the saddles were just plain with a zipper.

Great product
I did a lot of research before ordering a dog backpack and I feel I ordered the perfect one. I have a 100lb lab/bloodhound mix and this fits him perfectly. It is adjustable and has a comfortable fit. He doesn’t notice having it on (the first 5 minutes was a different story), and I think he likes having a job of carrying all my stuff! The pockets are very roomy. The material seems very durable. We’ve worn it wading through the water and out hiking through the woods with no issues. It is not waterproof which is a minor downfall, but I don’t put anything that can’t get wet in there. I would highly recommend this product.

Too hot for summertime in Chicago area
This is a nice pack. Fits good on my 1-year-old German Shepherd. Unfortunately, she overheated in it on a 68 degree (humid) day in Chicago area in May. She'll only be able to wear this pack in the Fall/Winter. If it were designed with mesh or had breathable holes, it might work better for summertime temperatures.

Not as durable as it looks
We did an overnight hike through the Alaska mountains and I needed the dog to carry his own food and blanket. The product fit great and didn’t seem to bother the dog at all. It carries the weight on the front shoulders instead of the back which made it more comfortable for my dog. One of the pouches does have a tear on the inside but it is the internal fabric so nothing falls out. There is enough room in the pouches to carry a 2 day supply of dog food, a small dog bowl, i packed a spare pare of gloves and my water shoes for the river crossing. The dog loved the hike and gets really excited when I pull it out.*Edit* I have now had this pack for a little over a year. We have used it maybe 10 times and the stitching on the inside of the saddle bags are tearing. The internal fabric tore on the first hike but it has gotten worse every time we use it I love this product but it is not durable. Hopefully I can get a replacement pack.

Good quality, could use some improvements
I bought this for my 60lb lab for a 3 day backpacking trip. Held up well as expected its made of high quality denier. Enough room for 4 days worth of dry food, a collapsible bowl and a small first aid kit. I also attached my dogs booties to the MOLLE webbing when they werent in use Not lightweight and not the best in capacity but my dog did not mind and it held up to her wandering off in the brush. Only downside is the leash attachment on the end of the pack rather the top towards the neck. Functioned properly though. If one tigris is listening, a softer padding on the underside of the pack would be a nice consideration.

Black Version 2.0, Medium: (Neck: 18"-23.5", Chest: 25"-30.5") Versus Large
I will update review later but because most of the reviews are for a different product I just wanted to note this version runs small. Have a 50lb Aussie and followed the sizing. The neck fit pretty well but the chest was way off. While it has adjustable straps on chest area they were extended as far as they would go and it was too small. We were only able to close the velcro by about 2" which isn't enough and hardly able to pull the clips together. So we are now getting the large.Note the pockets are smaller on the med but they do have the extra above the pocket to slide things in the large has bigger pockets but does not.

Loads of space and you’re dog becomes a bit scarier to humans
So far so good. Took a 17 mile hike with my dog through the white mountains in NH while he wore this pack - stayed on him well. Only real problem I’ve had is that because my dog likes to run around in the woods while I hike - a couple of times now (over the course of about 30 miles of hiking so it’s not a huge issue) one of the pull cords got caught around a tree and and he got stuck. So I’ve decided to try and tuck the cords in. Seems durable enough to me - my dog certainly puts it through the wringer when were in the woods (rarely does he stick to just the trail) - has splashed in plenty of water (it’s not waterproof so if you put food in the pouches unprotected the food will get wet). I haven’t really found a good use for putting stuff in with the pull cords. I tried putting a liter of water in each but one would always fall out. There is plenty of room in the pouches for a liter of water so I’ve just resorted to sticking them in the pouches. I do think it makes you’re dog look like more of a badass. Rarely do I encounter people who are afraid of my dog - however I did run into one woman who was clearly terrified of my dog - never seen that before.

Great quality, incorrect measurements
We measured my dog's chest to 35 inches exactly so I figured this would fit him or be slightly tight since the description says it goes up to 35.1 inches. When we tried to put it on him, it was short by several inches. We loosened the chest straps as much as possible and then measured it and it only measures to 30 inches, so the description was wrong by 5 inches. The quality was really nice and it looked great, but I just wish it fit him. Now I have to return it and get a refund and try to find a new one to buy him.

Zoe our adventure doggo loves it!
Delighted with this doggie back-pack.Zoe our marvellous adventure doggo wore this every day on holiday on the Isle of Arran. She carried her own water bottle and poop bags (both unused and used) in one side and another spare water bottle in the other side. You need to keep the weight even on both side, but this was easily done. The padded area under the clip in front of her chest was needed. Other products don’t have this which is why I bought this one. It’s a must when running when keeping up with us on our mountain bikes.Thankfully there are 2 small water drainage holes in both saddle bags - ideal for Zoe as she frequently lay down in water to cool off when wearing the back-pack.Very happy with the quality, it dried quickly too.She was always happy to put it on - she’d see it and get excited, knowing that it meant we were heading into the hills for the day.

Yes! Sits right, well made, weight-bearing.
I'd say this is a great piece of kit. Although they put the strap on the right side, meaning when dog walks to heel looking up it does dig you in the leg. Not so fun. Size is a tad off round the chest. However, the bag is sturdy, strong and very well made. I really like it as it holds a good amount and dog seems to like carrying it. Velcro for patches is cool too. Overall great product which needs some minor tweaks!Would buy again.

Really good.
Smart, and doesn’t budge even when we run for miles with dog bolting into the sea on a regular basis for a swim (with kit in waterproof bags in the pouches). Dog looks proud as punch carrying all his gear and half of mine. Larger fit than I expected but just fits my large border collie on the absolute smallest setting the belly strap can go (large size). Medium would have been better.

Excellent quality
Very happy with the fit and quality of this item. My 30kg bull lurcher wears it well and seems very comfortable in it. Can't wait to hit the trail!

Really nice! Lightweight and dosnt seem to bother him when hes running around!
The media could not be loaded. Really nice! Not thick so he wont over heat, had good amount of storage as well but i wouldnt recommend putting too much in there, it could hurt their back! But i reall like it! He can carry his own collapsible bowl and poo bags small bags of food as well for when we go wild camping! Definitely worth the money
