This small unit keeps my entire downstairs cool. It was easy to assemble and my electric bill had not increased. I keep it between 72-74. It was worth the coins spent. It doesn't run loud. I simply love it!

I’m using this in a large (~350 sq. ft.) bedroom that is far away from the home AC unit, and the duct work in our house is terrible, so the temp in our bedroom in the summer is always 4-5 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. We use this portable unit to reduce the temp the rest of the way. Works perfectly, and I don’t wake up at night sweating anymore! I couldn’t say if it would cool the room 100% in the dead heat of the summer, but it’s the perfect supplement when the central AC doesn’t do the full job. The only negative comment is that it was kind of annoying to vent it out the window, and I felt like I needed to supplement the window kit with some weather stripping, weather proofing, and special locks to feel safe and protected from the outside elements. But once I got it set up, I love it!

This air conditioner appears to be well made. My issue was the Vent hose was not long enough and the window guard that fits exhaust peice was too long to fit the window. Allow space around unit when measuring to fit in the room you choose.

Makes a huge difference in upstairs room which can sometimes be 10 degrees warmer. Can be a little loud to get used to but then blends in as white noise to fall asleep to. Can set desired room temp like a thermostat. Easy to set up and run.

I would not recommend this portable air conditioner. It worked for only one summer season before it completely stopped producing cold air. The unit is now essentially useless after very limited use, which is unacceptable for a product at this price point. What made the experience even worse was the customer service. After contacting support, they only suggested very basic troubleshooting steps like cleaning the filter. We had already completed all of those steps, including ensuring the exhaust hose was installed correctly, using Cool Mode, and setting the temperature well below the ambient room temperature. None of these resolved the issue. Instead of offering meaningful technical support or standing behind their product, customer service closed the support chat without providing a solution. They then pointed to the expired warranty, despite the fact that the unit had only seen one season of normal summer use. A portable air conditioner should last much longer than a single season. Between the poor durability and disappointing customer support, I cannot recommend this product.

I bought this in may of 2024 it was AWSOME when I first bought it for about the first year . the cooling performance has DRASTICLY decreased it barley keeps the small room cool mind you I have cleaned the filters regularly my only bet now is take it apart and do a deep clean I would only recommend fi your room is super small and you don't use it a lot its pretty loud . and is a little expensive for how long it lasted and hours it ran for. I ended up having to cut the window vent insert but it was pretty easy to install

Works absolute wonders! Chills the room very well, sometimes a little too well, lol. My bedroom has little insulation as it’s a reformed attic so in the Summer when it’s above 70F outside, the room always feels extremely hot and muggy as all the cool air from the house escapes from the roof of my room. I’ll wake up sweating and have a hard time sleeping during the day (I work third shift). This aircon has been such a wonderful and welcome change. The only thing I will say, make sure to get some duct tape, or a thicker hose, to keep the hose in place on the unit as it started falling out due to the unit kicking out warm air. But other than that, I have no complaints and the unit works very well.

Very compact mobile air conditioner. It's very quiet. Cooling is fast. The temperature of the room can drop immediately. It looks beautiful. It blows out fresh. Love this air conditioner! ！！

For the price paid, it is a good device. Easy to start. Additional accessories are also easy to install (with user manual included). So far for a few days of very hot weather, it has been good at cooling two rooms in the house. It is over a longer period of use that we will see the quality of manufacture of this model. But so far we are satisfied. :-) I make some additions of info on this machine: It works with us from a 120 volt alternating current. I don't know if it would work well on the battery in a caravan vehicle. Additionally, this system is 28 inches tall by 12 wide; so it takes up space. For noise, it is acceptable if it is placed far enough away from where you sleep (we can compare it to the sound of a refrigerator).

The unit works great, the noise level is a bit high but not terrible(is only really a problem when I am on the phone). Be aware that this unit will pull a lot of moisture out of the air(I connected the included hose and have it continually draining into a bucket that I empty about twice a day). The customer service was wonderful. The shipping company delivered the unit 6 days early and did not bother to tell me it was delivered, so it ended up being stolen. The vendor was very fast to offer to resolve the issue and sent a new one at no charge with very little delay. Update: I have had this unit for about 3 years now, it still works as well as the day that I got it. If I could give 6 starts, I would.

Pleased with the product from Castway. It works well. Everything was included as indicated by seller. Easy to set up. It was delivered earlier than first noted. It is the perfect size for the room. Have enjoyed having this air-conditioner during our heat wave. Would recommend this product. It was an 8000 btu air conditioner.
