I bought this to replace my non stick kadai. This is heavy and doesn't stick much to the bottom or turn colour of food while cooking. It is little bigger than I thought but would be apt for a 6+ family. I wish it had a suitable lid as well.

It's a very good quality heavy kadhai.feeling great when cooking in this but I guess .. it's the best for curry like sabzi and deep frying..but not for dry sabzi. Dry sabzi is sticking to the bottom even flame is low....I cooked dry aalu sabzi..and it's started sticking ..m not able to soute properly and ended cooking early...and feeling dispointed.

Just like any other steel vessel,one can use it to make curries n may be to fry papads n poories. I m using it for past one month it burns veg as well as nonveg dishes..even if I put in simar slow flame..I tried in many ways..nothing works. Thefinishing , look n quality all good..very heavy that you can't lift it with one hand. For so pricey ,it's usage is very limited...after watching it use on a you tube cooking,I bought it..but all lies..it burns dishes even on slow flame..not value for money.
