Very nice, very fun. Sometimes the iron get stuck in the hinges making the door difficult to close but I wouldn't store it any other way. Great gift for the kids.

I got this as a toy/zen for me!! I really love this. I wanted stuff like this as a kid! It is a little messy and the iron powder dust can be hard to get off hands. (I dug my hands in cause, why not?) I did order extra iron powder as the amount in the kit barely covers the box's inside diameter, that was worth it!! Only suggestion to anyone looking to buy it, have another larger container to put the box in. The box itself is not leak proof and if your lazy like me you don't want to empty the iron powder after every use. Oh and maybe stain the box as it's just barely sanded.

Only two complaints with this kit: 1) The tools are iron and magnetic, meaning the magnets in the garden interfere with your gardening. Wood/Plastic would have been much better. 2) There's hardly any "sand" in the kit that arrives. Fortunately, additional sand is cheap (and worth it). I currently have the box on a table at work. It's a regular attraction and coworkers are always coming over to play with the sand and see the cool designs the magnets make. The top of the box split slightly when I dropped it, but it did NOT bust open, so that's a plus to me. Overall, I love the product, but recommend the above tweaks.

I bought this for my adult son and ended up buying another for my therapy practice. It’s very relaxing and also a a great sensory experience. Other therapists I work with bought as well. Pro: exactly as described. Con: small box but oh well!

It was a good anniversary gift for my husband, he started playing with it as soon as it got in! I ordered extra metal fillings which haven’t come in yet, but even without it’s fun to play with.

I came across a similar magnetic sand box where I work and kids just love it! I went looking online for the same exact one but couldn't find it, but found this one instead and boy am I happy I found this one instead! The quality of the box and the tools are amazing. My only quirk is that it doesn't come with enough of the iron powder. So if you purchase this, I highly recommend that you purchase the extra iron powder as well.

I was crazy excited to open the tools, the rocks, the sand....then I poured the sand in. For the price I paid I'm really disappointed in the amount of sand. You use a tool..You scrape bottom. You use the lovely rocks..You scrape bottom. I don't want to see the woods bottom. I want to feel the Zen moment of raking a pattern smoothly and making an amazing garden, not scraping the bottom. I'm a huge sharer and I was happy but I had to tell my friends a no because of the amount of sand.
