Repaired a Situation
I have a Berkliner Massage Chair and the OEM controller is wired to chair with a coiled cable that had started to break down, horribly. Literally, the rubber coating on cable was simply flaking off, exposing all the wires inside. Not to mention the mess of little flakes of pieces of hardened rubber all over... Turns out the controller cable plugs in underneath the chair using a RJ45 plug like CAT5 cables use. However, the OEM cable has a 24" non-coiled leader. An exhaustive search of InterWeb found no replacements available for this Berkliner Chair controller and nowhere could I find a coiled cable with a 24" leader to RJ45 connector, so I bought this Coiled Cable along with a 24" CAT5 extender cable. Cut off one end of the coiled cable and stripped back to expose wires for connection to the actual hand controller. Had to carefully coordinate wire colors as they were different, but was able to get new coiled cable successfully solder to controller board. Also salvaged the original strain relief and got controller functional. Added the 24" CAT5 extension cable from the electronics under the chair out to the side pocket where the hand controller is stored and plugged it in there. All Good! Works perfectly and my Shiatsu Massage chair is back in business, kneading my back muscles to perfection... Ahhhhhhh....

Useless fraud!
Right out of the bag, the cable failed to work on Ethernet. The plugs were way to loose in Ethernet jacks. Jiggling the plugs would get a temporary but slow connection. I thought I might be able salvage the cable by cutting off the loosey goosey connectors and putting my own on but, when I cut off one endoff one end and stripped off the jacket, the wires were not twisted pairs. This is NOT an Ethernet cable! This makes me wonder about the veracity of all the positive reviews. It's a pity I can't use it because this is the best coiled cable I've seen in a long time; it fully springs back every time it gets stretched out.

Ethernet? Sure. Or a mic cable
This makes a great replacement cable for the mic cable on a ham radio that uses RJ45 ends.

works, but kinda stiff
It would be nice if it was a bit more flexible. Too dificult to stretch out

Throttle tethers for Model Railroads
I bought these for use on my model train layout as throttle tethers and they work great. Just make sure the wiring matches your system.

NOT cat5e
This cable is NOT cat5e. The cable is straight wires, not twisted pairs. The ends are correctly terminated as T568B. The cable was tested using a Fluke CIQ-100 qualification tester. This cable WILL NOT work as a network cable in any real capacity. This cable SHOULD work if you intend to use it for another purpose that uses RJ45 connections (audio, console cable, ect). Pictured is the test results of this cable, and a proper cat5e cable. This cable is being falsely advertised as being cat5e ethernet. It is not. Do not purchase this to use for internet connections or any other networking purpose.

Not a twisted pair and quite stiff for a coiled cable.
Important: This is *not* a twisted pair, and as such might not be particularly good as an ethernet cable as it could be subject to crosstalk and interference. I purchased it as a replacement declination motor cable for an LX200 telescope, however those cables need to be wired as a rollover cable (not a crossover cable), which did require me to cut off one of the ends off, reverse the wires and install a new RJ45 terminal end (this is how I know the cable is not a twisted pair). I already knew I was going to have to do that when I purchased it, so that is not the reason for the three stars. The reason for three stars is because A. Its not a twisted pair and is being sold as an ethernet cable B. Its quite stiff as a cable and does not stretch or move very well, which kind of undermines the entire point of being a coiled cable, as it puts undue strain on the terminal ends rather than the coiled area, which is not great for a telescope that will be constantly slewing across the night sky.

Did Not Work Right on LG TV
Cable is very nice. Made very well. Does not feel cheap or chintzy. However, I purchased this cord to use to for my LG TV that is mounted on my living room wall. The network cable in the wall runs directly to the patch panel and then to the switch. I like things hardwired for speed and stability. I started with a patch cable and it worked perfectly. I found this coiled one which was awesome to use for when you need to pull the TV out from wall or pivot it, so you don't have any hanging down or pulling tight. The first one of these cables displayed a CONSTANT "LAN connected" then "LAN disconnected" message on the screen. I asked for a replacement, thinking it was a fluke. Received the second cable and it flashes the same message. I am so disappointed. I put my old patch cable on and the error messages on the TV instantly went away.

良い感じです。
アイコムの無線機用マイクが経年変化で外被覆が剥がれてしまったので、こちらと交換。純正と比べると少々固く重量もありますが(なので★4)、使用に問題はなく安価に交換ができました。
