Good quality for the price
I have purchased three of these. The first is over a year old and I recently purchased 2 more.SETUP: They can be assembled in seconds. Just insert one pipe into the other until the locking pin clicks.USE: They are very easy to raise, lower, tilt, and tie up. There is a crank that opens and closes the umbrella. It is connected to a small rope that runs up through the pole to a pully that then pulls the umbrella mechanism up or down. I'm sure there is a limited lifespan on that cord, but after a year, mine looks fine. You can tilt the umbrella when it is open by push a button. It has 3 angles that it can lock in at. Some other umbrellas can hit any angle you want, but I never need that precise of an angle. The umbrella has ties so that when closed, you can tie it shut to avoid wind blowing up into it. Finally, the umbrellas has the double umbrellas on top to allow wind to blow out when you get a stronger gust. It works pretty well. My 35lb base works for most wind. I haven't tried it in strong winds, but you would need at least 50lb base to even attempt.QUALITY: It's not built like a $300+ umbrella, but it looks nice, holds it's color after a year in the sun, and seems like it will last for 3-5 years which is pretty standard for even expensive umbrellas. at 1/6 the price, these are a much better option.

Nice patio umbrella for a good price
Very prompt delivery. The mechanism seems adequate and easy to use. Fabric is not heavy canvas, but a lighter polyester synthetic. Only time will tell if it can stand up to the SoCal sun. Because of inadequate packing protection, the plastic cap on the top of the umbrella was cracked in transit, but this should not be a problem in actual use (Amazon or manufacturer needs to cushion the cap for transit).

Lasted for 6 years. Would've lasted longer if we weren't lazy.
We just reordered this same umbrella after our previous one started looking rough after 6 years. We have the beige one so fading was never an issue, but we left it open during a storm, causing an arm to bend after the wind pulled the umbrella out of the stand and threw it off the deck. Then we left it out all last year, including winter, to find the umbrella wearing thin in several spots and ripped in one. The crank and tilt still work great, though. If you don't neglect your umbrella like we did it can easily last 10+ years.

Great value
I've been buying this exact umbrella from Amazon for years. They only last about 2 years on my deck, and then the UV fade makes them look sad, so I just buy another. Mechanically they are well made, and the overall quality is great. For the price Amazon charges I think they are a great value. Recommended.

A sun-shielding adventure!
This is the ultimate 9' guardian angel of patio parties and the savior of sun-sensitive skin! This noble creation is like a multitasking superhero – providing shade, blocking UV rays, and occasionally playing a game of "Catch the Wind" when it decides to turn into a parachute. When I first unfurled this umbrella, I felt like a medieval knight raising a shield to defend against the fiery dragon of sunlight. "Fear not, fair friends, for I shall shield thee from the scorching rays of the sun!"Setting up this umbrella can be a bit like a round of interpretive dance. You twist, you turn, you tug, and suddenly, the umbrella takes off like a kite. And just when you think you've got it secured, a gust of wind swoops in like a mischievous imp, challenging you to a game of "Hold Onto Your Hat."But let's talk about the size. This umbrella is like the Mary Poppins bag of sun protection. You open it up, and suddenly, it's big enough to shade a small village. "Step right up, folks! We've got shade for sale – one square meter at a time!"And let's not forget the positioning strategy. It's like a game of cosmic chess, where the sun is your opponent and you're trying to outmaneuver its relentless rays. "Ha! I'll put the umbrella here, and then, I shall have the perfect shadow across the land!"Of course, there's always the unexpected rain shower that transforms your umbrella into a makeshift waterfall. "Quick, everyone, grab your plates! We've got an all-you-can-eat rain buffet!"In conclusion, our new 9' Sunnyglade Outdoor Table Umbrella is not just an umbrella – it's a sun-shielding adventure, a wind-catching escapade, and occasionally, a surprise water feature. So, bask in its shadowy glory, dance with the wind, and remember, when it comes to outdoor umbrellas, you're not just blocking the sun; you're embracing the elements with style! ☂️🌞😄
