Where is this product manufactured?

According to the label it is manufactured in the USA and distributed out of Boise ID. The website is nutri-vet.com. Very good question by the way! It really helps my girls. The 8 yr. old has plates in both knees. ACL injuries. She chases balls all the time! I get the #3 and they get two a day

My Pittie/Dane mix has hip dysplasia and arthritis, but he is only 4. Why does it say to give to a dog over 9?.

I guess for most dogs that's when arthritis kicks in. I've been giving these to my 3 dogs (age 10, 9, 8) for the past 2 years & the pills made a world of difference. Hope this helps & your little guy feels better

Is this a very hard tablet? How big is it?

It's about the size of a few dimes stacked, and it's not super hard. If you shake the container, pill dust will rise when you open it. My dogs were not sure about the taste the first day or two, but now they beg for their "joint pills" every day.
