Giving it a five-star review although I had to throw mine away at the end of the first day. Word to the wise, do not get a treble hook anywhere around this thing! The holes in the mesh are so small you will never be able to unravel the mess and will probably end up cutting the net to save your lure like I did. In my opinion this dip net and fish hooks should not be on the same boat together. Be warned. That being said the item seemed to be of good quality and durability so if you're buying for any other reason than fishing you should be okay

This fishing net was just what I was looking for. It is nice and compact. Plus it’s easy to use and hold when fishing. Fingers crossed it helps me catch more fish!

I'll have to use it 1st bf making a comment but it looks cheap and the metal loop to hang it was into the netting .. also upon netting a fish the handle bent in half

For the price, it's a pretty good deal. The frame of the net is solid and it flips open easily. It is as shown in the picture. Now the bad, the net is pretty terrible. It smells STRONGLY of chemicals, like overpoweringly strong, as in if you dip the net into the water you might think that and oil slick would come off it. This will fade with time, but the second problem is that this is what I would call a "dip net", not a fish landing net. The mesh is very fine, like an aquarium net for minnows, and I don't know how well it would hold up to regular use. The ends of the net frame are joined only by a piece of tubing stretched over the shafts that come out of the handle. This will probably be fine, but at some point will either tear, or crack if it dries out. That said, the bones on this are good, and if you are willing to restring it in the future with a better mesh net, then you really can't beat the price.

Totally useless after the first use

I got these for my son to take my grandson crawfishing. They are sturdy and nice to have because the fold up. They loved them.
