2 pounds came well protected in thick bag. Fragrance is fresh and strong; buds have good color. I made a dozen sachets, each with about 3/4 + cup buds, and used way less than 2 pounds. Nice product; would order again for closets and inside window seat storage area.

The scent is powerful and fresh. The first bag was returned because the vacuum seal was not intact and I worried about freshness (you generally have 3 months of active bug repellent to your sachets). This bag was sealed and we snipped the corner of the bag to pour the buds into sachet bags (also purchased on Amazon). Rooms, drawers and closets smell lovely! This is a generous amount, quite fresh and strong, and will make your purse and nose very, very happy!!!

I'd classify the One Dove lavender as Grade B. Lavender is available in various grades, including A, B, C, Food Grade, Cosmetic, and Organic, and this one fits well into the Grade B category. Packaged in China, the two-pound bag of lavender has a delightful fragrance and a lovely purple hue. In comparison, a friend gave me a small baggie of lavender (see picture), which wasn't purple at all and had a significant amount of stems mixed in. The two-pound bag comes in thick plastic packaging, which fits perfectly inside a 6-liter semi-clear plastic tub—very economical and convenient. Overall, I would recommend this brand.
