This fits my 3 yr old grandson with a big head perfectly so keep that in mind when ordering.It's darling and he loves it. The string on the border of the hat keeps coming undone but it's easy to weave it through again and knot it. BE CAREFUL - the plastic toggle to tighten the string can come off and is a choking hazard for young kids. We just put it up so he could still play with the hat
