Great camping stove
I have had this for a fairly short amount of time, so things may change. What I am finding so far is:1. Reasonably light and well thought out design overall.2. Quick and easy to setup and get cooking. I wouldn't manhandle the thing. It goes together easy enough and my gas sniffer can't find any leaks. I put the regulator in a plastic bag before storing in the stove so it is not thumping around in there as I transport the stove.3. Easy to clean, granted my stove already has some stains on it. Nothing that is not expected and overall the most visible parts of the stove clean up quick and look great at this point.4. It takes a little practice to get the heat right. This stove can get blazing hot if you want and with no wind and a high setting, you can burn your food to a crisp in an instant. Plus those starter fingers get glowing hot and I have to wonder how good (or bad) an idea it is to have those glowing hot. If there is some wind, even though this has some wind shielding, the settings that work fine with no wind won't hardly cook your food at all. So with some experience and getting used to how the flame looks under various lighting conditions and such, you can dial it in under a number of conditions and get your food cooked right. I generally shoot for the range of the starter fingers are either not glowing at all, just barely under that threshold or only glowing a bit if there is some wind and this usually cooks at a good rate. A fair amount of wind and those starter fingers end up glowing a fair amount to get the heat right.5. A 1lb tank should last you for days unless you are really doing a whole lot of cooking. Getting an adapter hose to hook up to a much larger tank also works fine, but you probably want to plan ahead a little and shut off the valve to a lager tank a few minutes before you are done cooking in order to purge the line. Of course with a 1 lb tank there is no line to purge, so doesn't apply.I am thinking what I should probably do next time I cook with it is get out my heat gun and take measurements of the cookware to see how hot it is getting. The stove itself is dead simple and easy to operate, which is good. It is just a question of how good the operator is at using the stove.

So Glad I Chose This Model
Just received my Coleman Triton Two Burner stove and was blown away by the quality. The metal is of substantial thickness, has clean lines, is compact, and is simple. I have owned numerous stoves over the years, including Coleman white gas stoves, single burner white gas, and propane, but this stove has them beat by a long way. Very compact and with curved lines and corners. What is most impressive is the heat output and ease of flame control. You can turn it up to blasting hot or turn it down to a low simmer. The windscreen is sufficient and easily deployed. I ordered a braided hose to attach it to my 12# bottle. The stove is so simple in design, making it very easy to take off the grill and clean the completely sealed top. This stove will be a cinch to keep clean. Another plus is the distance between burners. It should be able to accommodate 10" skillets and pots. I couldn't be happier. This is one of those purchases you want to take wonderful care of. I can see it being passed down from generation to generation.

Great camping stove
Use for camping so I don’t need to use my propane and cook inside. Great stove, works well in wind if positioned correctly.

Coleman maintains a go-to choice
Good stove for outdoor trips. I have had a few Coleman stoves over the years. My recent was a white gas classic that had begun to burn a large yellow flame. I tried getting a replacement generator for it, but part received was actually not a proper fit so it was returned. Sending the whole stove to Coleman for assessment and overhaul did not seem the economical choice. I gifted it to a friend who offered to examine it and get it working better if he could. It was many years old. Pumping the gas tank for pressure was admittedly tedious. It became time for a propane model. The difference in cost to a standard or instant start was negligible, so I went with that. I just received it, and tested out on my patio. No surprise in setting it up, this is not my first rodeo. Instant start worked well, no biggie to steady the stove with one hand when firing it. Burners lit well and could be made to flow strongly. Water in the test pot boiled within acceptable time. Burners shut off well.I had thought of another brand at a lower cost, but hate buyer’s remorse, so stuck with tried and true Coleman. Construction seems good, solid metal parts. A friend gifted me a carry case for it which was appreciated. Those hold the stove and a pair of propane cans.Yet to take it on an excursion, but everything looks just fine. There is the version without instant start that comes from a third party that does not accept returns. Good to have seen that in advance. This model is from Amazon with return or replacement capabilities. I even contacted Coleman and confirmed the honor the device’s warranty if purchased through Amazon if service is required.I don’t get out to campsites as often as I used to, but feel this stove will be reliable for any treks I do make. One is planned in another two weeks. I will update the review if anything pertinent to addLastly, I will note that while Coleman is based in Kansas, this stove is manufactured outside of the USA. Not a big deal as it is testing perfectly so far.Happy trails, y’allAddendum...I noticed the bottom of the stove appeared to be missing a screw; possibly one that has little effect. It bothered me enough as to instigate a return and replacement. It turns out the replacement only has2 screws in that location, not 3, so a design change must have been employed. Coleman has not responded to my inquiry, but it appears a small design change that is of no consequence.

Perfect for our needs
This is a great camp stove. We’ve taken it on several camping trips. I prefer cooking at a picnic table to cooking inside an RV; we’re very happy with this purchase.
