Struggling to remove the CAP?
I'm not sure why a few buyers can't quite muster the cap. It is both a child deterrent cap and the initial open will require additional torque to break the factory seal. So place the bottle on a firm, stable surface and press down hard on the cap (with more force than a child) while torquing the cap counterclockwise. If you hear the cogs in the deterrent cap slipping you're not applying sufficient downward force while turning. Again the initial opening requires increased force to break the seal and this apparently is where some have gone off the deep end. I did enjoy one review describing a stooge maneuver of sawing the cap off.

The best brand. Tips for hair growth below. Make sure you're buying real peppermint
Many of the other brands aren't real peppermint - they're made from corn, other types of mint plants, or blended. This is 100% real peppermint (mentha piperita). And it's the best price I've found for the real stuff. If you're just using it as an air freshener or something like that, it may not matter to you, and you're ok getting the cheaper stuff. But if you're using for medicinal purposes, topical, insect repellent, etc, make sure it's 100% mehta piperita. One popular use is for hair growth, and it definitely does have follicle stimulating properties. Here's how to use:-Most people thin it out because it's too strong. But the stronger the better!...use it as strong as possible.-Instead of cutting it with almond oil, etc, you may consider adding things you also want in your scalp. Examples are Vitamin A, Vitamin D, or Vitamin B (which come in drops). A splash of aloe has a lot of nutrients also.-Do NOT add to shampoo (I see people with shampoo recipes). This stuff will STING your eyes, you must dilute a great deal if adding to soaps or shampoos.-Use the dropper to get it right on your scalp, not in your hair. Have a cotton swab, paper towel, etc, handy to wipe clean any surplus, or catch it before it rolls onto forehead or into eyes! It won't do any damage to your eyes, it is not dangerous, but it will sting for a good 20 minutes.-Every morning put drop on your scalp, about 1" apart, as needed. Have a brush handy, after 4 or 5 drops spread it around so it doesn't roll off. Don't do it before bed - it will get on your pillow and then into your eyes.-Make sure to wash hands thoroughly after using, if you rub your eyes or nose you will sting. Best to use dish soap (like Dawn, something that is a good degreaser), castille soap, or wash your hands with another kind of oil (almond, coconut, orange, etc).-Even a few drops will make you smell like peppermint for hours. I love the smell, but just be prepared it may clash with perfume etc. I would suggest skipping perfume, you *will* get compliments on the mint! Just about everyone loves mint. Also be careful touching your hair for the next hour or so - again, it's potent stuff, people touch their faces, scratch their noses, etc, much more than they realize. It won't do any damage, and if you do get it in a sensitive area, it's just going to sting a little bit then eventually go away. Nothing to be afraid of, just be aware.Good luck!

Update: Opened with Channel Lock Pliers
Was excited to use this ... but it won't open. Cap shows illustration to push down and turn ... no luck. Will update after trying alternatives.UPDATE: Tried a couple things, but it was my friend, with really strong arms but couldn't get the cap off by hand, who found a fairly simple solution ...for him, lol. He used channel lock pliers and a really, really strong grip to push down and turn the cap to the point that the white plastic underneath would actually detach (see pic). After all that, smells great, was what I expected, and I did receive the dropper and 3 pipettes --was also well-packed.Now opens easily and the cap is designed with a built-in stopper that hasn't leaked so far.

It's my clients favorite peppermint
I have tried so many brands of peppermint. While many of them are really good, I keep finding myself back to the now brand. My massage clients seem to love this one the best. I have one client in particular who can only use peppermint and she always comments that this one is her favorite and always eases her headaches.
