how can I make them soft again? with time they have become really hard and my dog cannot chew them

Try putting a piece of bread in the package. Bread softens cookies so it’s worth a try.

How many chews are in a 12 oz bag for a small dog?

All of our products are measured by weight, not quantity, but you could expect roughly 35 chews in the 12 oz bag!

About how many in each bag? Trying to figure out how long they'll last at 2 per day.

Guessing 10-12 days at 2 per day. I’m giving one per day to my 9.5 month old puppy… it does seem to work. Answered in video. You will get about a month maximum. I don’t remember exactly how many days I’ve had this bag open. I do think they are worth it despite being pricey. (My pup doesn’t like tooth brush or wipes) works better than dental chews.

how can I make them more soft?

They are what they should be. Buy something else if they are too hard for you. The dogs are supposed to chew them to clean their teeth.
