Awesome product, very satisfied
Awesome product. I bought the unflavored protein and have no problem with the taste, but I'm not very big on taste when it comes to my health. I have tried worse tasting proteins and this is good considering how clean it is. As I’ve taken it more, I’m on my 4th or 5th tub, I’ve grown to like it and have no problem with the taste at all. I can take it plain, nothing but water. Mixes well by itself and doesn’t overpower other ingredients you mix it with. There’s only 3 ingredients, brown rice protein, pea protein and vitamin B. No added sugars, sweeteners, flavors or preservatives which is awesome considering other " health " products do. It's definitely a good bargain considering you get more servings (78) than dollars you spend ($55-$60). I also like that each serving has 25 grams of protein and only 115 calories. I haven't found another vegan product with a bette, or even comparable, serving/price ratio and the protein/calorie ratio of the vegan promix. Very satisfied and will continue to use. If there is a knock against this product……… the powder is so fine that it can get kinda messy if you're not careful. Not a big deal at all, barely worth mentioning but I wanted to be honest and give as much info as I could. If you're looking for a clean vegan protein with ingredients that you can actually pronounce give promix a try.

It tastes like what it is, and that's a good thing
The taste is the biggest downside, but that's just the result of having a clean product with no fillers. It tastes exacly like pea protein should taste: like a cold pea soup with no attempts made to season it. I personally close my nostrils and chug it down. It blends easily and doesn't clump. Only real complaint is that the seal could be better.

Whey lover's opinion
I usually purchase the Promix Unflavored Grass-fed Whey (which I love), but saw that this one was cheaper and decided to give it a try. I am flexitarian and try to limit my consumption of animal products. I would not say I love this protein as much as the grass-fed whey, but its is better than most other plant-based proteins I have tried. Here are my pros and cons:Cons: Has the typical chalky texture of a plant-based protein, as messy as white flour, makes the liquid I add it to very foamyPros: No revoltingly sweet flavor, makes a great flour substitute in the recipes I have tried with it so far (muffins, crumble and quick bread), mixes well into oatmeal, provides WAY more protein by weight than any other plant-based protein I have triedI do not know if this will replace the Promix Unflavored Grass-fed Whey, but it has a place in pantry and definitely bakes better than whey. It just does not beat the refreshing texture and taste of my Promix Unflavored Grass-fed Whey + 1 cup coconut water shake for quick recovery after a tough workout, that is why I'm not giving up the whey.

Yes, 😋
I love this protein powder. If course the taste takes some getting used to but I about or now and it's so much better than others I've tried. It's great mixed in oatmeal or just shaken with water. It disolves nicely, and isn't chalky.

its not the same as it used to be
Hello,I originally bought the chocolate flavor of your protein powder and really loved it. Recently, I decided to try the unflavored version, especially for taking it at night, but unfortunately the taste does not work for me at all. There is also an issue with the packaging. After opening the bag, the top seal does not close properly. The three-layer seal that should connect on both sides isn’t functioning, so the package cannot be securely used or stored. When I contacted customer support about a possible exchange, I was told it was not possible. However, I’ve also noticed from recent reviews that the formula may have changed. It seems I’m not the only customer who feels the taste and quality are different from before. When a product is already successful and loved by customers, changing the formula can be disappointing. I wanted to share this feedback because I truly liked your product before and hope you will consider maintaining the original quality and improving customer support for situations like this.Thank you for your time.

Tastes like drinkable cardboard
This protein powder was recommended by my dietitian because of its impressive ingredient list and solid macros. I appreciated the clean, plant-based formula with no unnecessary additives. However, I was really disappointed with the taste—it was like drinking cardboard. The unflavored aspect made it hard to mask the natural taste, even when mixed into smoothies or other drinks. I ended up finishing the pack (since it wasn't cheap), but I had to blend it with another flavored protein powder just to make it bearable. It helped slightly, but the taste still wasn’t great. If you're prioritizing clean ingredients and don't mind a very natural, bland flavor, it might work for you, but I wouldn't buy it again

High quality at decent price
I usually don't take the time to write reviews but seeing this product is averaging only 3.5 stars makes me feel bad. Especially after reading the 1 star reviews I feel the need to express my opinion.I've been consuming 1 to 2 serving sizes of the product (plain & unflavored) since about 3 years. If you do the Math that's roughly 60 lbs. I could write a long examination on the value of protein powder (but others have already done the work much better than I ever could). But let's face it, it's unnecessary unless you are a very ambitious pro lifter, don't have the time or desire to eat. Otherwise, you are better off spending your money on real food. And if go to the gym 4 times per week & you believe you have to gulp your Whey Shake 15 seconds after your "workout" to make your gains (!) - do the research. You don't. You also really don't need that much protein. At all (just google Leucin, MTor, etc.). Anyway, let's get to the point: I continue to use this product because I just like the taste of it. That's it. It provides this really, earthy flavor which I just love. I mix it with cocoa powder and cocoa nibs and sometimes add wheatgrass. I also like to put it in coffee sometimes. Often times I heat that up in the MW and feel I'm drinking such a rich, pure chocolate. I have 3 of them for dinner - no problem. It blends not great but OK. I understand taste is subjective, so try it and make up your mind. I just prefer something natural. It's not sweet at all (which I love).A few shout outs on other 1 stars I read and would like to provide my view & context:I never had any issues with best before dates. In fact, I never pay attention to it anyway. As long as it's not clumping in the jar I don't see an issue. And bear in mind: it's a "best before date" the supplier has to put on there due to FDA regulations and it's not an "expiration date" (google helps - once again).I also didn't see a change in formula or taste over the last 3 years.

Flavorless but heart burn side effect
I’ve tried every vegan/vegetarian protein powder imagineable being a vegetarian for 25 years now. For some strange reason this one caused heartburn in me.Upon smelling the powder in the container, my senses are smelling a spicy type scent but I don’t know what it could be because there isn’t any spicy ingredients in it.Caused heartburn so returned it. If they offered sample packets or a smaller tub, I’m sure the company would show less profit vs loss but I guess it’s not a concern of theirs.Taste. Typical chalky taste that all vegan powders have so it wasn’t unusual or a surprise to me. It’s flavor isn’t overwhelming, its the norm for a flavorless vegan powder.Mixed well with 8oz of orange juice. No clumps no froth no settling at the bottom. It’s was a fairly thick shake consistency. No stomach bloat or upset. Just heartburn but heartburn is a problem for me so returned.Gave it 3 stars for mixing consistency and being relatively flavorless/no aftertaste and minimal ingredients with a good make up.
