Dear Customer， Many thanks for concerning our AMKI sound activated party lights, This party lights dj disco lights is not waterproof. So for longer service life, please do not use this club light in a wet environment for long-term. When using it outdoor, please take waterproof measures. Hope this answer can help you.

Are the remote battery included?

No.For safety reason,CR2023/2025 battery for remote is not included. You will need to use your own battery or buy battery. Thank you!

This connection is used to receive digital signals from a controller to make the fixture do what you want it to do. This fixture in my opinion does best in sound activated mode.
