These spikes are a great bird deterrent. I no longer have to clean up bird excrement on my windowsills.

The items appear sturdy and are easy to install with cable ties. You can also fasten them to wood with screws. They fulfill their task of keeping birds from landing on the railings and leaving waste from their visits. They don’t appear to harm the birds.

So every year, I have a pair of cardinals that comes back and builds a nest in my yard and attacks my windows. I used double-sided sticky tape to attach these to the exterior sill (on painted concrete) and they have held on really well, even through multiple Florida rain storms. These have kept the male cardinal off of my Windows. These have not kept the female cardinal off my windows, she’s definitely a lot smarter than him! Because of my accordion window shutters there’s a small gap and I can’t put these directly up against the window so it’s about a 2 inch gap and she flies and sits right between my window and the spikes and pecks at my window with her feathers and tail in the spikes! So I definitely feel like this is worthwhile and maybe works with the majority of birds. But the super smart birds are gonna find a workaround.

I bought these for a clear feeder that attaches to a sliding door. Squirrels kept getting up on the ledge above, jumping onto the feeder roof and hanging down to get the seed. These spikes are long and sharp, and finally it is something that works. I attached them to the feeder roof with a strong double sided tape. The feeder now looks very space age, but the birds don't care!

Purchased these to discourage racoons from digging and sitting in my plants. Took special care placing the spikes and weighing them down as much as possible. This morning, they had been pulled out, and some even had tips chewed or broken off. Does not deter racoons, in fact, probably affords them amusement as they show me who is really boss of the patio!

Li ho appena posizionati sulla base alta dell'unità esterna del climatizzatore e tra il muro e la medesima unità lo scopo e quello di evitare che gli uccellini facciano il nido. Nei punti strategici ho utilizzato 2 file per bloccarli mentre in quelli meno esposti ho messo una sola fila, funzionerà? Credo di dover aspettare la prossima stagione sperando che il forte calore di questa estate non li scotti rendendoli fragili.
